Donating blood
Elentari Posted Jun 20, 2007
Hey Mal, long time no speak! How are you?
I'm not sure about Austria (that's where you are isn't it?), but in the UK it's fine for women to donate at any time of the month, because you don't really lose much during a period.

Reasonably fine again by now, thanks Just can't keep me away.
And no, I'm in Germany, but close enough Thanks for clarifying

Ah, sorry.
What do you mean "by now"? Were you ill? I'm out of the loop, sorry to be inquisitive!

Yeah, but hurried back to hootoo
Nothing they wouldn't want my blood because of, though If I see them around, I'll go.

there's a donor session (organised by the red cross) in the town next to me on Sunday morning
09:00 to 13:00 Mal, if you want to come (you can get the Wupper express to Erkelenz and I'll pick you up
I'm going along and the gruesomes are coming to find out what it's about.
Let's see if:
a) they take mine, this time
2) they leave my arms black and blue (like after a blood test)
iii) (there's always a 3) if it takes less than an hour and a half to fill the bag.

Thanks, Sho, but on Sundays I'm usually covered in armour and trying to *avoid* leaving blood in the gym
Though if I persuade the whole group that it's a way to demonstrate their machismo...

Sounds great, can I join, too? I'll only be back from my sister's on 14th or 15th, though.

well, I was thinking of the week after that - I'll probably pop over after work. I may or may not be in UK for the weekend of 20~22nd (collecting the gruesomes, maybe depending on prices and flights)
will you be off work then? you are welcome to come up and stay with me... you'd have to amuse yourself (probably with while I'm at work though)
oh wait... the monday... I'm off on the monday. 16th?

So am I
And as we'll for once not take the train to my sister, but the car, I could come home on Friday 13th if Matodemi can't make the Monday.
