One of my friends in NY goes to a therapist every week or so, we don't do any of this yet here it seems a doctor is a doctor if you know what I mean?

BTW is this your big time for mozzies or do you get them year round with the weather? I always get bit if it's hot in NY I have to wear Autan or something similar from about 5pm onwards.

We seem to get them at around this time..our local breed does carry disease so there are a lot of warnings about..I don't fear that though..smiley - smiley

I agree about the doctor bit I think we should have more easier access to doctors who specialise in certain areas but it's a bit diffirent here.

We have some cases of insect transmitted encephalitis, and something called West Nile virus..generally harmless if you have an immune system strong enough to fight it. Older people are at risk, and immunocompromised people as well.

I've heard of the West Nile virus in NY, I'm just one of those people who get eaten to death lol. Though I can go to some places and they don't touch me it's strange. But I'm not taking any risks this year I've read forums some people say take antimalaria tablets some people say don't bother, I'm just not chancing anything. It's a bit easier for men who wear long trousers in the evening women tend to wear skirts or 3/4 trousers.

I hear sunrise & sunset is their busy time, though sometimes they seem to be around all the time.
