Having asked the question I would have to give it some thought myself ...

It would have to be a nice happy one though

My first thought would be something like "Pride and Prejudice"...where the clothes were cool, and everyonewas clever...even the stupid people

Charlie and the Choclate factory springs to mind ..... < ....

Or Chitty,chitty,bang,bang .... flying cars and wierd inventions to make breakfast for me ...

Dinner time ...

And let's not forget that Mr Wonka...not to mention pretty much eveyrone in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang...also had marvellous clothes

Lunch was ok til I lost at cards .....

Back to the Books ...... wouldnt have minded being Ivanhoe or Zorro ... swishy swords and fancy dress ..

But did you have fun ??

Aw don't worry puppet, cards isn't the be all and end all

Most of my favourite books are ones...so I probably wouldn't really want to live in them

I lost as much as I won .... so I guess it was ...

Its quite hard to remember a book with the sort of enviroment I would be happy to live in ... ????

What about Robert the Bruce ??? ... wasnt he supposed to have lived in caves in the scottish Highlands ??? ...... sounds right up your street

well then you didn't lose, you drew, right ?

I haven't read that one...I'll add it to my list

Have you any plans for the weekend ??? ... I am off to the theatre to see 'Starlight Express' ... dont know if you have heard of it but it is all done on Roller Skates

I don't think I'd want to live in a book with sticky pages

( about that, it had to be done )

Plans for the weekend? Let's see...tomorrow we've got staff seminar for w**k which will be lovely and boring...on the plus side though, there's free booze afterwards, so I've arranged for the boy to pick up me and one of the girls I w**k with about 2 or 3 hours after the official close...which means there'll be about 2 or 3 hours of solid, free drinking

(I've drunk with this girl before...one of the few girls I know who doesn't drink like one )

After that it's my mate's birthday, so we're going to a bar where they only play 80s music

As for the rest of the weekend, hopefully I'll get some sleep in...and think of some tasty things to put in a pie

Quiet this weekend (apart from the show) ..... but Golf me or scott .. every day from Sunday through til Friday

Well if you don’t mind me saying so, that’s a bit of golf hey

So far we’ve done potato, pasta and curry…I want to try a quiche but the boy is a bit wary of them…so I’ll just have to think of something else

Curry sounds nice .... and so many different types you can try ....
Plus if you ever have a takeaway and any is left over ..... well ... it doesnt need to go in the bin anymore

The only things that tend to get thrown out are the meaty things the boy never finishes...I very rarely *not* eat

The last week or so has been an absolute here at work. And it's probably going to keep being a until the lady I work with comes back from your end of the world, in a few more weeks.

Just been told we are to lose 30% of our work .... Company are putting together a commitee to assess the viability of this factory ??
Doesnt sound good ... wont know anything for six to eight weeks ...
