One of only two that I remember.
(I didn't think you'd take "Move yer bloomin' @rse!" quite in the spirit it was intended)

Well I'm not the world's biggest fan of musicals
Although "Return of Captain Invincible" is worth catching if it pops up on the late-night schedules.
(And "Return to the Forbidden Planet" and "From a Jack to a King" are must-sees at the theatre, should anyone revive them)

I'm speechless again
Did you have a power cut last night? Ours/mine went off at about 10.40pm but they said it wasn't connected with those in the Newcastle area.

No power cut, but Blueyonder were unable to provide any internet service until about 9:30 10ish; their status line didn't say why...

I know: I had to resort to desperate measures and read a book...

lol
I was a bit stuck - lots of candles but hard to read by candlelight - after a bit of a search, I found some batteries for the large torch so that I could do my customary reading in bed - yes - you've guessed it - the lights came back on

Friday night and I expect you're out on the razz! I'm not dead - just in the West Midlands having arrived from the smoke yesterday

The History Boys is currently being made into a film btw - with the original West End cast so I'm told.

I'll have to look out for it then.
Seen Wallace & Gromit yet? That's very good. (As, at the risk of overdoing it, is Serenity (if more people see it there's more chance of a sequel))

Haven't seen either - I find it easier to wait until they're released as DVDs
I think I've finally sussed what's wrong with me at this time of year - I think I need to hibernate!

I do that with most films
I know what you mean about hibernation: it never feels right when it's dark when I leave home and dark again when I get back...
Key: Complain about this post
