Maz Posted May 29, 2003
We have had a couple of beautiful sunny days 17-18 degrees but the nights are starting to get cold 5-6 degrees. At the moment it is 10.
I am watching the tennis. Young Lleyton is being a bit temperamental! What a surprise!
Hi Helen
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted May 29, 2003
being regional we don't get the tennis
got futurama
don't mind tennis
lleyton and the scud are rather able
smileys are quite big around here and can be addictive

as after 11 now will be off to bed soon..maybe
Hi Helen
Maz Posted May 29, 2003
The tennis is on Foxtel.
I haven't had conversation on the computer before so I haven't figured out all those symbol thingy's yet. My kids are big into it but they are never around when I need them! Mind you only one is still living at home.
Hi Helen
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted May 29, 2003
never done the conversation on computer before either, kind of fell into hootoo and got hooked
a good place for newbies is the game addicts thread A1041625,just click on this and it will take you to a page with 'nonsense' games on it
these are easy to play fun things, gives you a chance to feel your way around
also there is the bar/tearoom
several people meet here just to exchange general chat and new people are always welcome, just give the a < tickle > ( if no spaces would have come up )
your ACE should have given you a 'link' to the smiley page
don't be afraid just jump in and say something
so how many kids do you have, I have two, although they live with their father, which was my choice
Hi Helen

Hi maz
seem to keep missing you
how are you?
Hi Helen
Maz Posted Jun 10, 2003
Things atre going well. I have been doing lots of evening shifts lately. Not to mention the bowling. Has the crushing season started yet? I thought they didn't cut the cane until September. Maybe I have it mixed up. My sister lives in Coolum and we used to go up in the June or Sept hols. Always looks spectacular when they are having a sugar burn off.
Hi Helen
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Jun 11, 2003
crushing starts on jun 16, and we cut until nov/dec
I start on midnight shift
but at least the mill would have been running for 16 hours
Missed you again
we still have some cane fires and yes they do look loverly, we sometimes go up a local hill, only big hill in area and watch them, quite romantic
Hi Helen

Hi Helly
Sorry I haven't talked for so long. We have been renovating and I have discovered when a builder says'Oh that's just weekend work for me' it bears NO resemblance to the length of time it will take to get the job done! I have also learnt to HATE plasterers!!!!
Next week Hubby and I are going up to Coolum for 6 days to see my sister. However she has been doing some things to her house as well so we might just be exchanging our insanity for hers!
Do you know the names and/or phone numbers of the Whale watching people in Hervey Bay? Doing one of their tours should be relaxing.
