Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...

I was going to post a closet competition yesterday...honestly, but I was too lazy. Well, that and the fact that I went to a bagpipe concert. I attacked an old man who used to pipe and interrogated him for twenty minutes after the performance. Absolutely incredible. I will be leaving...tomorrow to go the Mississippi and pick up my gran. I will be driving, but I will be rewarded by the fact that there will be a barge party and a huge summer, yard dance that I will be allowed to attend. I will get in a bit of skinny dipping and (I hope) a tiny bit of swamp time.
Same closet competition, different day of the week. Rules are the same. Three days, answer all of the questions, and hope to win. A week in my closet with regular meals, one or two baths a day, several walks a day, as well as belly rubs...er...a day. Competition is sponsored by the glorious fuel of most of us...FOOD.
Deciding question: What is the worst way to serve pasta salad? I'm talking about the lovely stuff with a garlic sauce and raw vegetables, cheese, and ham or bacon.
What foods make you nauseous just to think of?
What is the second worst thing you can do to pasta salad? (sorry, my mommy blasphemed against the sacred god of pasta salad last night and I'm seething, still.)
How do you like your meat cooked? (raw, rare, medium-rare, medium-well, you get the point)
What is the strangest combination of food that you eat and absolutely love?
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...

Hmm, offhand I'd say in a mouldy tea kettle left out in the sun for way too long.
SEAFOOD! Ugh! (OK, I know I'm weird)
Putting in way, way, way too much vinegar, if you must put any in at all.
Erm, mostly veggie for me. Essentially, if it tastes like it could conceivably have been an animal at some point in time, I don't like it.
Salami and cream cheese. Yummy
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...

Cold, after three days in the fridge, when the sauce has gone hard and the pasta has become rubbery.
Macaroni, there's a long explanation to it, but suffice to say that due to a childhood experience, I now automatically associate macaroni with puke.
Overcook the pasta so it turns into porridge, then serve without the garlic sauce.
Medium-well.
Norwegian brown cheese with marmalade, spread on toast (very odd cheese, I can assure you).
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...

Traveller in Time on the dining table
"The worst way to serve pasta salad is with some pineapple parts in it.
You will not get me nauseous by thinking of food, the scent of parishing(?) food does.
The second worst thing to do to pasta salad must be adding oliver onions.
Meat, well depends on what and when I think, barbeques tend to burn it when still raw, but I like chicken smooth off the bone.
Is it strange to like lard 'buttered' honey and (spicy) cheese sandwich? "
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...

In shoe with "danger biological"
Acutely the smell of Mc Donald's makes me puke, no really it does.
Easy, serve it with a curry on top.
Depends on the meat. But I assume its stake, and thats medium rare or blue if its good steak.
The strangest combination would have to be custard, milo, banna, coconut and milk.
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...

This is a cold pasta salad, so the worst way to serve it is WARM! EEEEEW! The vegetables are warm and the noodles and the sauce...*gags*
Peas. Green peas. *runsfortoilet*
She left out the garlic...left out the garlic...*whimper*
I like my meat cooked. Preferably to the point where you can chew the bones.
Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...

So we all loose¿

Evidently.
I like peanut butter and banana sandwiches, though I haven't tried peanut butter and pickle.
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...
Tacysa Posted Jul 13, 2004
Yep, for the second week in a row. Of course, that was a horribly unfair question because no one knew exactly what I was talking about and it was completely a matter of opinion, but, hey, it's my contest.
Mmmm, peanut butter and banana is divine.
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...
Flying Betty- Now with added nickname tag! Posted Jul 14, 2004
But now that you mention it, that is a major pasta salad sin. Nice to know you're up front about you making the rules for this contest instead of pretending to confront a closet contest handbook or something like that.
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...

Well, I did try to use the CCHB, but the text did this funky little tango and I couldn't keep noticing how it never pointed its toes.

You should try opening your eyes. Of course, it might have been too much for you to see the tango without pointed toes, in which case I apologize for wanting you to watch it.

It's absolutely horrible. Whoever printed that book should be shot, or at least dragged to classical dance classes for ten years so that they know what's proper. Such a shame.
Yeah, yeah, it's that time again...
Flying Betty- Now with added nickname tag! Posted Jul 16, 2004
Indeed. And they should probably be forced to wear leg warmers the whole time, just to get the full essence of their dancing.
