I had some lovely green ones for a modern show involving trees (I was the promendading willow) but after two shows, they were black with the tar from the stage laquer. I had never spent $600 on toe shoes in a week in my life at that point.

My friend had some blue toe shoes once. I've never had my own pair but I've played around on other people's. I had a used pair around for a while when someone decided that even if I don't take pointe I still need toe shoes.

Performance pointe shoes are EXPENSIVE and only last for forty-ish hours...if that.
