We have seen the light and got a subscription unmetered thingy account instead of paying BT through the nose every time we dial up...
Money management... it's a great thing.

In the beginning

Well, here I am. After a while being an unregistered lurker, I registered for h2g2 last week and already am being sucked in... I can't stay away. The idea of writing stuff that gets published - by someone else - is really cool. Even if I have a website, have posted on other communities etc. This is different.
So all I have to do is spice up my Upage, write some articles, have them criticised, moderated, edited etc. and I will be in the Edited Guide... how hard can it be...? 
Very tricky I'm sure. In the meantime I'll add random comments to conversations and think about using GuideML.
Also on the agenda, balancing hootoo use with so-called 'Real Life' activities. In the last week I've played 2 gigs, and am singing in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall in a gospel concert on Saturday coming... my wife's just finishing her HND and I'm behind on my correspondence. Ah, and I'm 'reviewing the situation' regarding my 9-5 work...
Oh yes, and there's the small matter of being a bit skint (even though I've just been paid) and going on holiday in 2 weeks...
Does any of this strike a chord with anyone?
Oh well, I'm off to build my roof...
