FT,
Could you lend some advice to me, on my next entry A2381050, I have a few different tables that i need to use, showing values. Right now i have them set on different entries, that would be ineligble for review. Do you think i should do it this way, or do you have any other ideas?
thanks,

Hi Tarast:
I hope that by now, Congratulations on your son, Benjamin, are in order?
Personally, I like the format. Easy to find the appropriate year and formula for a particular HD. There cannot be too many groupings, are there?
General Motors produces a 17 character VIN card each year, complete with tables of corresponding production facilities, model line, engine and brake system, safety system, year, country of origin, etc. Each VIN ends with a 6 digit production number. (VIN should be capitalized, by the way, as it is not so much an abbreviation as an acronym)
You might want to include tables of such designations as year codes and model codes.
To condense it, I might build a table for each range of years where the formula is different, start it (as you did) with an example, but identify the VIN positions of each code.
[ ie:
Mid 1930's to 1969
VIN POSITION12 34 5678
EXAMPLE: 57 LH 5719 ]
Then break the sections down into tables describing the meanings of various codes or groupings of codes.
It's possible that I have misunderstood your request, though. Is this the type of help you wanted, or is it with coding the tables?

Good Mornin' Mr. 'T'
Strange, it never even occurred to me that I might want to rearrange my PS. My first thought is that the only way to get a different arrangement is to use a different 'skin' (alabaster, classic goo, etc.)
I'd suggest visiting a few personal spaces and see if anything appeals to you. People are pretty good about sharing code. If you have nowhere else to start, I believe you can go to mine and try my 'Friends' spaces. There are some pretty creative and knowledgeable types there.
By the way, I looked up some Gaelic names for Benjamin Anderson (interesting choice, Hebrew and Swedish)
http://www.hoganstand.com/general/identity/names.htm
Benjamin is probably the closest fitted with the Irish Gaelic: Beiniaimín. I had less luck with Anderson, but perhaps McAindérs would do?
Andreas - Aindréas
Andrew - Aindriú
My son is also a January, Aquarius kid, but closer to the cusp. When he was about 6 years old, I told him that my name translated to:
'Stranger from the Dark Waters'. He seemed interested, but I didn't expect it to stick.
About two months later, I heard him tell a kindergarten friend, 'My dad's name means 'Creature from the Black Lagoon'.
You will find Benjamin surprises you constantly. (Enjoy it, but don't tell people about every little adventure, you will want to save some stories for later. Peter is 22 years old, and I still have a few up my sleeve.)

I was teasing about the etymology of the names, although I think there is a Swedish form, like 'Anderson'.
Your son may well grow up to appreciate his Irish heritage as much as my son has. He's even learning a bit of Irish Gaelic on his own time.
He was much more excited than I had been when I told him about the family castle. He's rather taken with the whole thing. Didn't even mind when he found the original founders had been mercenaries.
The Harley thing is progressing well. Will you ever provide tables to describe the meanings of the codes? Probably, the letter representing the year advances one letter each model year, like GM; but without a base point, it would be hard to calculate.
The same thing goes for the weight code. Does a '1' indicate heavy or light? Have the codes changed over the years, or just changed position?
You may have to update before too many more years. There has been talk of increasing the number of positions, to hold more information regarding factory installed options.
Let me know before it goes to Peer Review, and I may be able to help a bit with proofreading, if you like.

Im working on the tables actually, getting them all inputted takes a little bit of time.
Which brings up a question, for instance weight, where 1 is heavy, 4 is light and 8 is a sidecar, should i do a whole table on another article page for that, or should i include that directly in this story, without a link?
I found out, not too long ago that at one point, way back when, my clan was actually in control of an island up in scotland...interesting

I'd suggest including all tables on the one entry. That way they can be more easily referenced.
Let other people link to you, I say; after all, you're royalty!
Seems like just about all Europeans are part Celt. They pretty much took over for awhile (at about the start of the iron age). Spread from Iberia to Gaul and through the peninsula. I'm sure that the last holdouts were all on more easily defended islandic strongholds.
Even the Romans hardly bothered with Ireland, and even the Vikings stayed along the shores.
It sounds like your clan may have had a similarly enviable situation.
My clan was (at one time or another) in control of about eight castles in Ireland; just not at the same time. And the one that still bears the name was never ours at all. Just had the name.
