Well, ... I guess it uses all the numerals; but, correct me if I have been laboring under a horrible assumption, most of the 42-isms I've seen have kept the numerals in order.
Wouldn't my number have to be 270827, or 827270? But, I like the start! You've got me rethinking?
Perhaps:
( -2 + ( 2 + 7 ) * 0 + 8 ) * 7 =
( -2 + 0 + 8 ) * 7 =
6 * 7 = 42!
