i have aproposal for you, and its not the whole marriage thing again (I know you're answer to that one). No, it's about leisure time. Our leisure time. I wondered if you'd feel up to going to the pictures with me come Monday, to see Finding Nemo. Not only does Ellen DeGenerate do one of the voices, but her character's called Dory. Not so much of a suggestion, more of a heartfelt request. Gets a good BBC review, and why would we question them. Come on, fish, get back to where you once belonged.

sounds lovely lizard. Howzabout I escort you to finding nemo and in return you take me along to Bright Young Things. We could call that one research and feel virtuous about it...

Um, I think I took you to see Finding Nemo, so you owe me a date. And although I'd like to see bright young things, I'd love to be taken out for dinner. Mmmm, down for italian and cocktails; to the pub for a mexican wave; into town for a chinese.
As you can see, I'd love to go out for dinner. Invite me, go on. YOu know you want to.

Well, you're otherwise occupied this Friday, goodness knows where we'll be on Sunday. So next Monday or The Friday after?
I think an all you can eat chineese buffet sounds like a blast.
So, wanna date? You might get lucky again.
(get a vowel wrong with that smiley and there's a bad image)

Tee hee hee.
Well, Friday night's all right for eating loads in a valleys restaurant.
I would like a chinese, but spare a thought for the delicious italins option, designed to make a strong lizard dribble.
And who might get lucky? You might.

Ohh, though I forgot to add that next Monday or Friday are also valid options. We can congratulate ourselves by spending all the money we'll save on meals.

Fattylizard - everybody loves an eggbee Posted Oct 14, 2003
Or we could buy delicious ingredients and have a meal in, though that does mean doing all the cooking. Probably nicer to leave it to somebody else, but it could be just as cheap to get ingredients and even a bottle of plonk than to go out. But if we did try and go on a Friday, we'd probably have to book, so lets think about it. I'm going to see if I can find the chinese number, I think we've got the italian.

Congratulations might be premature, not saving any money yet...bloody patches. F+B's is too costly so you're limited to pottery or buffet. And I'll decide. You got to pick the film so I get to pick the food.
And I think you'll find that it was you who got lucky since I did all the seducin'.
Lovely lizard, if you want to be taken out next friday you shall be. You'll have earned it.
Love you.

Ooooh, ok. Um we'll decide. I mean, I won't be home late from uni, last things enrolment at 3.30, so home by 5, at latest, I should say. Enrolment doesn't take long. We'll need to work out about paying the fees beford Friday. I'm not sure how much they are in total, nor whether there's enough in your bank to cover it. Perhaps if I take a cheque for x amount, find out how much you and I have in our accounts, and maybe I'll top up from my account. Rent won't have gone out yet, but I think that's mine not yours. Then we could either arrange to pay by direct debit, or after we get paid, we can give them the rest. We can always go up there on a day off. It'll be romantic to visit that area at this time of year. We an always catch the train into Ponty from there.
If we are to go out on a Friday, then you'll probably need to book, though praps not for the pottery. But it'd be best to phone and check wherever. Anyway, chuck, all that's up to you.

We're going to want to spent many hours chewing over the day, your writing, my writing, and life in general. We might as well do that while chewing over nice food!

Fattylizard - everybody loves an eggbee Posted Oct 14, 2003
That is very true. Well, it's all up to you. I will not be phoning, paying or indeed anything that is connected with going out. But phone them to check if you need to book, and then book if you need to book. Up to you. But, obviously, you can keep me filled in on all your progress.
How do you feel about the money? It does depend on how much gold there is in the vaults. We'll check on our way home, I'm up for a fright.

Probably will be a fright too. But we'll see anyway.
What do you fancy for dinner tonight?
I could do a potato dish, we've go a lot of potatoes that are going to go green soon.

Fattylizard - everybody loves an eggbee Posted Oct 14, 2003
Yes, if you like. You can do that, and I'll do the dishes. Have we any of those sauces left? They're very nice. Um. Or we can have nuked potatoes. We've got kievs. Chicken burgers, they were nice. Um. I can't remember what else we've got, but we've got lots. If J doesn't want to partake of potatoes, if we've got a sauce, then we can just have that. Would it do enough for three anyway? Have we still got bacon? Cos, if we don't have a suace, we could do a bake with various other things in it, like bacon. remember that really strange layered thing my mum did once? Well, something like that. ANd we've got packet sauces, cheese? I'm sure we could pour that over a bake, maybe par cooked. And did I mention the bacon? I can't think of what else we've got at home that may make it a taste explosion. Shame we've no eggs, really. Um. Anyway, what do you think of this general theme? Get back to me, padre, we've got a long way to go.

nadia Posted Oct 14, 2003
Yes we have bacon.
I could do potato dish with bacon in it, maybe diced tomato as well...
If J is asleep it would be a meal by itself.

Fattylizard - everybody loves an eggbee Posted Oct 14, 2003
Yes, I thought perhaps tomato. Even, we could slice swede in like the potatoe. You'd probably quite like swede, not a strong taste, and rather sweet. ANd it has a rather similar texture to potato, though granier. But in a dish like that, you'd hardly notice. Rather creamy, with a hint of pepper, it is. I think you'd enjoy, specially if there's very little.

There's also some leek that needs using up. Or I could throw a handfull of sweetcorn in.
Not sure about sweed or leek though. Might be nice to stick to things I *like*. Bacon and tomato would go nice with just butter and a hefty sprinkling of pepper.
Alternatively we've got lemon and lime and coriander...
I could do soufle potato with those delicacies mixed in. Or just a good alterntive mash.
OOOh corned beef hash.
This giving up smoking lark is hungry work.

Fattylizard - everybody loves an eggbee Posted Oct 14, 2003
Mmmm alternative mash.
Sounds good, and all the lime now brought in. Um, we could go in for something like that. Corned beef hash? Sounds nice, but I don't know? Maybe if we made a quite lumpy one? Could have tomato in it as well, you know, quite a rough one.
Or alternative mash with bacon bits etc.
Gosh, lots of choices, I can see our bus journey home being full of this conversation. Something gooood, that's what we want. Yummy

You are very strange.
There are no calls. We can have an actual conversation. And you don't even really like text conversations.
Bless you.

Fattylizard - everybody loves an eggbee Posted Oct 14, 2003
Yes, but we're not continuing this conversation whilst there are no calls. So yes, we can have a conversation, even though I am currently engaged in a n activity, but we can have this conversation as well, thereby having two conversations at once about different topics. And what to have for dinner works very well as a text conversation, and anyway, I like having them with you.
So there
Fatty
