Ok tell me all about yourself

Now that would be telling, would take far too long to write.. and by the time I was done there would be more to tell... I'll give you some basics..
I was born in Sydney, Australia where I spent most of my young life. I always had a feeling of homelessness and travelled around Australia for a couple of years, it was back in 97 I started venturing abroud and I havent stopped since. I still feel homeless and have a driving urge to find my 'home' wherever that may be.......
Musical preferences metal/goth/industrial/classical/rock .. favourite movies would be 'in the mouth of madness' and 'the princess bride' .. I dont have a tv and i'm not planning on getting one, tv rots the brain in my opinion..
I eat most foods except for fish and asparagus, though I do love other seafood (crab, prawn, lobster etc) ... nothing in my opinion beats a good steak though.. well except for maybe toasted cheese sandwiches..
Hows that for starters?
Your turn now.....

Ok I can see we do have similarities: I have visited Australia and have relatives out there, I also like rock but I like bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Rolling Stones etc, I like sea food too like mussels, I don't have a tv either and I love toasted cheese sandwiches too.
Differences: I have never seen the films you have mentioned, I love Shakespeare and fairytales which I am not sure you'd be into and therefore my favourite films would be Ever After and Baz Luhrman's films Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge. I wonder whether he's done any more films hmmmmmmmmmm.....

I like shakespeare.. fairytales myths and legends interest me as well... I also write poetry and short stories.. even had some of it published...
You should see those movies I mentioned, they are brilliant. I watched 'city of angels' again last night.. that movie never fails to make me cry.. Have you seen 'shakespeare in love'? thats another brilliant movie
I liked moulin rouge though i wasnt that keen on romeo and juliet... 1 hate leo cappachino (deliberate typo).. and 2.. i didnt like the way the lines were delivered.. the imagery was incredible though..

I may just take you up on your idea of watching those movies probably during the summer holidays though. As a matter of fact I have seen Shakespeare in love and its sitting in my room on dvd As for Leo I think he is foul. However I do like the archaic lexis employed by the film to some degree and I definitely agree the images were brilliant. I wonder whether baz Luhrman has made any other films??? anyway must dash I'm shattered.

I dont know if Baz has made any other movies, it may be something to look into though (not that I have a tv to watch them on LOL). I heartily recommend the other two movies, I think you will like 'the princess bride' most of all. 'In the mouth of madness' is kind of a horror movie, but its more traditional and it has an excellent plot and storyline to it.

I'm not keen on horror and fantasy and science stuff like the matrix I was nearly sick today after sitting through a clip of the matrix It gave me the shivers. I'm not sure what genre the princess bride is could you tell me please.

The princess bride is a genre all of its own... You could say that its a shakespearesque fantasy romance comedy ... something like a cross between 'Robin Hood: Men in tights' (Funnily enough has the same guy playing the hero) and... my mind just went blank.. LOL . but its good.. I've never heard a bad word said about it by anyone.. its just one of those movies that appeal to young and old alike on some level...
