GRUBE: Call me conceited...

OK, I'd like to start by talking about me. Quite simply, this is because you are on my page, which suggests that what I say goes. I thus exercise my right to appear as self-obsessed as I damn well like.

Having got the formalities firmly out of the way, I may as well introduce myself. My parents mistakenly christened me 'James', obviously completely ignorant of the fact that by attaching it to the surname 'Gruber' it was never going to be necessary. (As an aside, it'd be interesting to see how many other Grubers visit either this page or the site in general...)

I while away my days in the less-than-sunny 'new town' of Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, not far off juscntion 8 of the M25, for those of you bored enough to care. I don't do much, and less of that is work-related, so it's quite surprising that I intend to go to Southampton next year to do a degree in Physics. My time is taken up with my desires: I love music, so there's always something playing. I devote my attention to few things, but they mostly consist of a fairly cheap Fender Squier Strat, a Yamaha steel 6 acoustic, a very attractive 5-string Yamaha bass, and an equally attractive wench I probably shouldn't name here...she might get embarrassed; so someone make the connection as she loves this site!

(Well, I suppose it should be mentioned that i have not even started to do her justice. Really, she's an amazing girl and she means an awful lot to me smiley - loveblush )

I could say a lot, but I won't. That's me, that's my life, that's what I care about; in that, there should be enough to make it easy to judge for yourself who I am.
