Well many thanks to some dear friends of ours to make this journal happen
to
THE DISTRICT BRAT & BASIDONBONDGIRL
like i said these 2 wonderful friends invited Di and the Kids over for some fishing and sunday dinner.
So on sunday after trying so hard to get bratty out of bed the safari to the local lake started off 
arrived at the amazon oasis and proceeded to set up tackle and choose fishing site after an hour we decide the otherside of the oasis was better so we sttled down on the other side
REBs decides he's going to put his line in 3ft away from the bank by some reeds.The great angler he is decides to use a bit of bread as bait
REBs is amazed when after 10 mins that the float stated boobing up and down and makes a grab for the rod but alas the fish had eaten the bait 
brilliant idea rebaits rod and puts it back in the same place in the oasis 
settles down to roll a cigarette with Bratty saying some thing to him REBs looks at the float and its going up and down all off a sudden it disapears and like lightening but slower Rebs grabs the rod but But the rod decided to have a life off its own and decides to jump into the oasis
This giant of a fish decides to parade Rebs rod up and down the lake (cheeky Git) and at last decides on the island of reeds in the middle of the lake to escape the rod Laughing
REBs not being a swimmer stands stuttering an appology to bratty but the hero type he is says thats 
and proceeds to change in to Rebs sons shorts and braves the oasis to retrieve the rod.But alas the fish had escaped but Bratty had saved the Rod
