Bastet - the latest incarnation just materialised in the Lair

Here she is, the latest of the never ending incarnations of Bastet in the Lair.
She was born during the late afternoon and I'm still a little numb.

I'm in love....

...in a beautiful, but somewhat ragged, red male cat. He is just over a year old and was adopted yesterday. He's a BIG boy even though he is very skinny and in bad need of a proper grooming. Affectionate and probably an opera singer to be 
I've never had a cat with that loud voice.
At the moment red 
and are glaring at each other. Her supreme Catesty seems to have Opinions concerning the young man's behaviour. That he is twice her size is completely irrelevant. It usually ends with red walking away.

haven't decided yet what to think about the new family member.

Insanity postponed a week...

The Queen Mum phoned and postponed her long feared arrival a week 
I will hopefully stay a present level of insanity at least two weeks more.princess has decided to stay in the Far East until next year, provided her visa gets prolonged; 
in back on the seven seas and DJ is... well... doing...something... and are bored.
I'm struggling with an online application for a new job that must be submitted preferably before midnight.
It's been raining most of Midsummer, so I managed to stay clear of Maypoles and drunken neighbours.
W*rk takes too much time from my cyber life. I hardly have time to 
anymore and thus I'm totally unaware of what's going on in HooTooland. Sort of miss you...

Another Cat in the Lair

The clone of Bastet aka The Gayer-Anderson Cat, purchased at British Museum during last week's HooToo Meet, arrived to the Lair this afternoon.
The Cats in the Lair are somewhat confuzzled. Her Supreme Catesty has decided to accept the newbie, as long as she is subordinate. Li'l Kitty is mostly curious and Tiny Cat pretended to be totally uninterested. However he was later spotted climbing vigorously to get acquainted.

Oops ! Forgot my 5th Hootoo Birthday...

I was five last week, the 4th to be exact, and I completely forgot about it.
... which obviously was what everyone else did as well...
So, a late celebration.
PGGB:s and greeh is served over there, along with some snacks.
