Online - at last - at least from the laptop...
Posted Oct 6, 2005
Moving house is really an experience....
Sort stuff, throw away stuff, pack stuff, unpack stuff, find new places to store stuff, get grown up offspring to at least partly take care of their own stuff...etc.etc....
People that don´t show up in time, or not at all, or send someone else who hasn´t got a clue... Logistics is not a talent every foreman for craftsmen has in abundance...
...and all the little things you normally don´t even consider, suddenly are not where they´re supposed to and make life more or less complicated...
...and normal life with work, visits to the vet, laundry, groceries and so on have to function as well.
The last month has been a very busy period of my life, but hopefully it will be calmer.
...and now I´m online
It´s taken me a good part of the last three evenings to sort it out. Now I can access the infernalic net from my laptop. My PC is in a bad mode, and so was my cable modem, a very bad combination. There have been many long phone calls to and to the support team of my ISP... but half an hour ago I was online again!!!
off to bed to

In the beginning there was only the emptiness. No warmth, no air, no light, no spots to dwell. Time went by and nothing happened.
Suddenly there was a great tremble and shake. A rift sprung open and a golden creature came out of the rift. The light arrived to the world that should be. The creature rose its head, sent out a great flame and the warmth arrived. Then it shook its body and blow out the breath from the inside and the air arrived. Finally the golden creature once more shook its body and the world was born, with many places to dwell and live at.
The Golden Fire Dragon walked into the world she just had created and lay her eggs. She nursed them well and new dragons were born. All with different skills and abilities of creation. The dragons created the world and all that´s in it and looked with pleasure upon their creation.
As times went by the dragons went in various ways and in various directions. They went into the air, into the sea, into the mountains, into the underworld and out to the great plains. Some went well with their creations, others not. They decide to leave the daily ruling to their creation and watched from afar.
Many eons came and left. Dragons became mythical creatures only a few knew existed. To most they were just myths and fairy tales. Since dragon are born rulers they knew went to interact and when to not. They watched from afar, worried and and they waited. They knew that they had a responsibility and that responsibility could not be neglected.
The message came that in a part of their realm, the HooToo, the inhabitants had decided to elect a new ruler. Many dragons inhabited the HooToo and thus had a deep feeling of responsibility for the wellbeing of the inhabitants, the Researchers. To protect the Researchers the dragons dwelled amongst them, and had settled in the Dragon House to be near, serve and protect.
When enemies approached the HooToo, the dragons defended the realm together with the Researchers and made many friends. The dragons took care of the Researchers, talked to them, worked with them, amused them and made many beautiful and powerful things for their pleasure.
Since the earliest times dragons have protected the HooToo against all villains and enemies and will continue to. The Researchers shall be secure and free within the realm. No trolls or evil aliens shall be allowed to harm.
Researchers;
* Dragons are born rulers! Dragons never abandon their loyals and give to them what they rightfully are entitled to.
* We don´t promise petty things as bread and circus! We will not be bought or bribed!
* We stand for the right of ness!
* We stand for the continuity in the continuum!
* Vote for the !

Back in the Inner Lair and trying to get some peace and calm...
Arrived home two hours ago after two hectic weeks, and is off again day after tomorrow... Well, I´ve had , unpacked, petted (who is thinner) and (who has grown), given to Mum and dragon princess, put and DJ´s gifts at a kitten safe place.... and listened to Mum´s constant complains and nags about everything from dirty windows to offspring not overwhelmingly happy about her ways to rule the house...sigh... business as usual...
Turned on the PC just to find 278 unread messages in the mailbox...and still two more mailboxes I´m too tired to check...
...and the gazillion postings to read at hootoo....not to night anyway......gotta
Got two new CPD certificates and a brand new nice piece of paper stating I´m officially qualified to do my job...did anyone say payrise...? Maybe I shall frame that piece of paper and hit my boss with it if he doesn´t say payrise...
Subtitled one of my presentations "Don´t Panic!" and ended with a slide containing the original recipe of the PanGalactic GargleBlaster incl a cartoon of Zaphod (two-headed) mixing a PGGB and a pic of the PGGB it self.
Threw a coin over my left shoulder into the Fontana di Trevi, which is said to guarantee a return to Rome. Refused to throw three...no way I want to get married again, not even to a Roman
Catch up with you later, folks!

September is an extremely busy month....
I´ll leave very early tomorrow morning for a business related journey and will be back the weekend after next. Then at home to pack a new bag and leave for next trip....
This at the same time as I´m moving house... bad timing... anyway I´ll be back home a few days before the stuff leaves for my new place.
Boxes everywhere... confused.... more content with new places to play...
...and no one at home to push and DJ to get their last belongings out of here...
I hope I can find access to the Infernalic Net occasionally and pop in for som virtual or
See ya!

God Damn the Pusherman
Posted Jul 27, 2005
Two days ago a boy, barely a young man, died due to an overdose of a yet unidentified drug. He was nineteen years old, lived in the house next to where I live and he was a friend of my youngest son. He was by no means an angel, but he was a nice and polite young man, always with a smile in his eyes and time for a chat when he popped in. He did that quite often during the last months of his life, since he always seemed to forget his keys and needed to borrow the phone to get help to come in to the flat he shared with some other guys. The last time we met, about a week before his death, he seemed to be in a good shape.
His life was not simple, and the way he chose to survive it was definitely not a god choice. His friends are devastated and are going to have a memorial service this evening. Hopefully this tragedy will make them realize the dangers and uselessness of the very bad things far too many of them fool around with.
...and also make them realize that keeping secrets can cause deaths. I just hope that some of them will have the guts and be brave enough to share who that provided the murder weapon so that d****d pusher get to pay for this death and all other misery his deeds cause.
"You know I've seen a lot of people
walking around with tombstone in their eyes
But the pusher don't care, ah
if you live or if you die
God damn hhm the pusher
god damn he hei I say the pusher
I say god damn god damn the pusherman"
Steppenwolf: God Damn the Pusherman
Rest in Peace, B
