One in trowbridge, last weekend in July. Maybe Ashton court or Guildfest. Would like to go to big green gathering (don't know when it is), and will be looking out for the small festivals again like endorse it, in Dorset. How about you? is lillith still at quite a transportable age or the right age to stay with friends?

The Trowbridge Folk Festival? The Man and I are hoping to go to that. 
I applied to work at the Big Green this year, but it seems that they don't want me. 
A friend of mine who teached antenatal yoga and I were planning on running an 'alternative birth' space, and were hoping to have a local midwife (or you of course! ) join us who runs workshops based on Pam England's "Birthing From Within" - we were planning on doing things like: Shiatsu, yoga, meditation, belly dancing, belly casting etc. The Big Green organisers (who have a pretty shoddily run webiste 
) told me to apply at the beginning of March: I duly applied on the 2nd and only got a reply a few days ago stating that they already had someone who does something similar...
The Big Green is huge! They could use more than one Shiatsu practitioner surely?! 
*ahem*

As for Lilith, she's on solids now as well as being breastfed, so would have to come with me.

Two of my colleagues (Independent Midwives) are doing the big green. One of them is the midwife who's birth I attended last month
Glad to hear Lillith is doing well. I went to a lovely french festival in France when Dominic was 5 months old. It was really good.

Forgot to say. I discharged my 3rd client today and am booking my 4th this week
I will also have half shares in two other women. Sharing with midwives who are unable to provide full-care.
This brings my total up to 5 so far. I hoped to have between 6 and 10 women per year so I've pretty much achieved this. I'm so pleased Once the word spreads I should get even more. 10 really would be enough though. It really takes it out of me emotionally, as I put so much energy into caring.
I'm currently client-free and not on-call for the first time in 6 months.
