Well, back home and earning again now, got a 2:1 for my first year of uni (including 80% for probability ) so it's all good!
Went to my cousin's wedding at the weekend - it was really good, especially as I can't remember any of the other weddings I've been to(due to only being about 5 years old, not due to alcohol!).

Expect to go to quite a few more in the next decade
The only ones I'd opt to avoid are those where you only know the bride and groom - if the wedding is of any size you'll never get to talk to them. Dry (alcohol free) weddings are also a little hard (hip flasks were in evidence from some guests)
What say pop Nash into PR soon?

Yeah - it was a bit annoying cos we only knew the groom, his parents, his brother, his brother's wife, and my nan, so there were a lot of people there we didn't know! It was still a lot of fun though

Sorry, should have offered you on doing well in 1st year exams.
I guess I was being a little blase, as you haven't actually graduated, but it is a step in the right direction. Hope the next years allow you to keep up the standard (or, who knows, better it ) Possibly a bit jealous subconciously - scraped through my first year exams, having to resit a couple of papers, but it made sure I paid attention in the next couple of years!
That was however a long time ago.

Thanks
I'm hoping for a first for my actual degree, whether it'll be possible or not I don't know. I'm clinging to the fact that I didn't work as hard as I should have done in the first year cos I knew I only needed 40%
