I first heard about H2G2 when the much-missed Douglas Adams set it up - I thought it a great idea but would never work. I find it astonishing and hopeful that Auntie Beeb has adopted this orphan, although she seems a bit shy of acknowledging this awkward but potentially brilliant adolescent. There is some really great stuff on the site.
I have been "lurking" for a while, but will try to contribute something useful soon - all power to those who do!
I particularly like the proper attention paid to Norway and many things Norwegian, as I was lucky enough to live there for a couple of years when I was a child and go back often. I recommend the following excellent entries to give the reader a flavour of that unique country:
