I'm still concentrating on finding my way around before I attempt to contribute anything ... Real Life can get in the way somewhat also, not to mention other online commitments, but I think this community is an excellent outlet for creativity of all kinds, so I hope to find my feet here soon.

i agree about RL getting in the way alot (especialy studies,)
but if you want to find you'r feet quickly there are many groups guilds you can join depending on your intrests, e.g:

A467606 - The Angels an unOFFICIAL group of volunteers who are freindly and always happy to help out new users,
A837353 - the Philosopher's guild, wher nothing is what it seems
A516647 - the Thingite's home to the longest conversation on site, just don't expect it to be relevant or even sane.
A423046 - the musicians guild.

there are hundreds more just tell me what your after and i'll find you something.

well, as mentioned very briefly in my person spec (r whatever the darn thing is called) my main loves are the eclectic mix of history and football (football of the Italian and south american variety, that is, nothing but the best!)That'll do for starters ...

unfortunatly as yet there seems to be little destinctions between the different types (except aussy rules and american )

... and already I am seeing gaps in the Guide which are just *begging* to be filled ...
