Hi SKOKIAAN, and welcome to H2G2, one of the best places to be on this planet and indeed on any other.

My name is Dr. Deckchair Funderlik, but don't worry, I'm not a doctor . I am an ACE for this place, that is: Assistant Community Editor. I'm basically here to help you. H2G2 is a big big place. Someone was sent off to mark the boundaries last year, but we haven't heard back from them yet. So if you're feeling somewhat overwhelmed, and I know I was when I started out, then here are a few places to check out:

If you want to be a name and not a number, then click on the preferences button on this page and replace your researcher number with the name of your choice. You can also change the look of the site this way.

When you are feeling creative, visit the <./> GuideML-Clinic</.>. This page will show you how turn your guide entries into the sistine chapel-type of entries they will doubt deserve to be.

If you are wondering how to make the smiley pictures like then click on any smiley. Simple, eh?

And, naturally, don't panic. No really, don't. Click on 'front page' and then click "Don't Panic" instead. It will take you to some nice big friendly help pages. Also, you might want to try this page by Rocket Man: A725500, as it is packed with loads of useful information.

Any chance you could change the case of the letters on your intro, not sure if you're aware but using capitals all the time is our equivalent to shouting. It's OK once in a while, but not all the time.
