Well hello there!
I do hope you haven't come here to read anything interesting. I'm far too busy reading other people's interesting bits myself to have managed being entertaining as well!!
I suppose that seeing as you're already here, the least I could do is tell you a little about myself.....I'm most frequently known as mama, though really only my daughter calls me that, and my friends call me Barbra, among other things. I take care of my girl Amy, full-time, and a couple of other children part-time. It's a lot more fun than other jobs I've had, though the pay is less, and I guess I'll be doing it for a while to come.
It's best I don't talk about my daughter too much, cause I'm likely to just go on and on and on and on...... Suffice to say she is adorable, clever, remarkable, affectionate, well behaved, healthy, pretty, friendly, talented....... See what I mean?
I'm a big fan of reading. Fantasy, sci-fi, horror, humour, everything in between Anne Rice and Terry Pratchet has a home on my book shelf. I'm partial to P.C. and ps2 games too, as well as playing a Dungeons and Dragons style game almost every week with some friends.
Considering I used to be a serious devotee of the Dublin
club-scene, I reckon I've changed a LOT over the years, but I wouldn't change a thing now ('cept maybe ask the boss for a raise!!)
So that's yer lot!
