h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It's been three years now and more than 400 photos!

And I realise I'm a week late with this announcement but last weekend I had a 'close encounter of the third digit kind' with my sofa and I'm afraid I've been a bit distracted since then.

But never mind - better late than never.

Many thanks to everyone for contributing to the the gallery and making it such a success. I couldn't have done it without you!

Well...therein may lay the nub, Nog. My stuff is video, which is edited by Someone Else. I am varyingly praised or criticized for too much, too little, a great *eye* or a tendency to wander down the visual path a bit too much.

So editing my own stuff is about as pleasant as a root canal.

Well yes. That's what "other people" are *for*, isn't it?

Maybe just edit 5 photos a day, zoomer - no more! That way it won't seem like such a daunting job and it'll be done, well, maybe even before your next visit. Especially as for the most part you just have to copy & paste my notes ... or have you gone and lost those?

at my age i dont see a camera,it was one i had took a few days back, as i was doing pics to sort for the guide on bradford i have in the reveiw. i havent seen the fotki yet, i cant get to a pc till monday.

will be tomz if the pcs at the lbrary are ok, i get 8 hours a week two a day, i dont go wed and sat, unless i lose a two hour early in the week.when you said your 4th birthday, you reminded me, ive been on the h2g2 for 4 yrs at least, and its only now ive gone for the edited guide on bradford,there is only one besides mine if it makes it. jim
