Thanks for all the kind words and thanks to anyone else who comes a sniffing round these parts, but I thnk I do nee a break from getting locked into arguments with sanctimonious people who think they're shit dont stink. Debating and learning new stuf of other people and about myself has always been fun but there was getting to be less and less of that.

Thank you also for the kind offer of another visit, which given the warmth of the welcome last time I suspected was the case anyway.

Going to focus more on; developing more things or work/the rugby club and obviously Sophie.

And you know I'll never be far away dont you.

What's with the ý 's?

Yeah, things are normalising a bit. Went out for the first time yesterday and am planning on taking a walk every day now, to build up my strength. Actually, it's having to climb those damn stairs afterwards that really takes it out of me...

I'm giving myself one more week to recover because I really need to get back to work (and wages). But I guess that depends on what happens when I see the oncologist on Tuesday. It's hard not to feel scared.

Glad to hear your recovery is progressing.

Well just remember that a few days extra in bed to make sure you are wellis a better idea than rushing things and sliding further back because you did too much too soon.

The Ys had a lot to do with cheap Turkish beer and the peculiar Turkish alphabet keyboard I was using. Dont worry Im back tot he standard spelling mistakes now.

Oh and Im just dandy by the way. Refreshed after a little holiday and besides enjoying the things that were good Im filled with extra passion for all the things I missed while I was away. So even the bad things on holiday were good

Well I still owe you for the little holiday you gave me. This month wont be good but Id rather send my spare cash next month to you than waste it on .

How are things going with you? Not been keeping in touch because just as the two head barmen at the club went of on a charity rally to mongolia for three weeks the other barman decided to get another job and I ended up running the bar and the coaching programme while devising the summer holiday programme and doing my regular job.

Yes thanks.

Im really behind with some apects of work so I'll get round to sorting things out when I get back from the weekends rugby trip and have caught up with the admin work which I'll be doing *before* I go away.

Thanks for the cat card and sory I havent been in touch more but times being what they are time has been a bit tight. Id have also liked to help out while you havent been able to work but outside influences and demands meant I couldnt.

I see that being ill hasnt stopped you gadding about entirely and the new haircut in the photo on your blog really suits you.

Yeah, I'm quite happy with the haircut.

I'm getting around almost normally now - this third operation really took it out of me, but at least I no longer have to lie down all the time. I've still got about three weeks until I have to start chemo again (which I am REALLY dreading) so I am going to make the most of them.

Spending a quiet Christmas eve at home with the cats and Nog, and tomorrow the Nogster is taking me out for a nice Christmas lunch.

Two nice things happened Friday.

We went for the second scan which indicated all things are going well with the baby and I got a card from you and your little gang. Thank you so much for thinking of me and going to the trouble. Im a bit crap at stuff like that but please accept my heartfelt wishes that things are going well for you. Now Im back a bit more often I might even manage a more comprehensive catch-up.
