Hmm. Having been campaigning solidly all week, there is an Ozarker (usually Jodan) one step ahead of me every single time.

Honestly - there's nowhere they haven't been first: I'd call it the best-run political machine in human history were it not for the fact that Jodan is certainly watching and will have that quote up on their campaign page almost immediately.

Ah.

The election is fun , but it's in danger of getting a little one-sided, that's all. What it really needs is for respected hitherto independents such as yourself to switch allegiance with great suddenness and for no clear reason whatsoever.

In danger of getting a little one-sided? But if elections weren't ever at least somewhat one-sided then how would anybody ever win them?

Oh, I don't think I could ever switch camps now - I'm still just getting used to the idea of no longer being Switzerland.

But they've only built up this apparently unassailable lead by going round the site being nice to people, employing reason and kindness to persuade researchers to vote for an enlightened set of policies based on decency and tolerance.

It's just not politics as I understand it

azahar, am I right that you'd like to get more involved? (I think you said, that but who can be sure without fully waking up...) There are many excellent titles we can offer to you. Chairman of the Ozark National Committee. Communications Director. Vice, Vice President (which doesn't mean you're subservient to me, of course, just as I tell Hyp what's on my mind when the sound of her email arriving in my mailbox just ruined a perfect nap, I would expect you to ).
