thanks for the welcome. I must admit I get a little lost with all the different links and wot not. I`m no doubt going to get lost quite a lot. especially as I can`t even remember which shoe box I put my brain in, never mind how to get the damn thing working. not that thats stopped me trying for my first entry already, which I put in the writers workshop. well, I think thats where it is any way. lol I think maybe I should just post something and just go "hey, would somebody please move this to where ever the hell its supposed to go pleae!"

okay, got a question for you. I`ve put a thingy in the writers workshop...now is this the best place to get other people to help me or not. will people just stumble on it, or is there some way I can sort of stand on it waving a flag going "hhheeeelllppp" lol I have got one buddy off the bands website who has joined so maybe she will help me...but how can I get others to help me?

In answer to your question..I probably shouldn't say this..but..if you look carefully..I think you can sometimes see the tumbleweed rolling by in the 'workshop'....the idea of the 'workshop' is good..but..researchers..don't visit often enough..IMO..I once removed an entry from there..after I'd had no response in a week after entering it..

You might like to..'take the plunge' and enter it into Peer Review..(have you read the writing guidelines..link is on Welcome post)..You need to write in the third person..I've quickly skimmed your entry..I'm not experienced at Guide Entries..(only having 2 in the Guide myself)..but..I'd imagine you'd be asked to change the word c**p..If you enter it to Peer Review..please remember that the Scouts..Sub-Eds..&..researchers who post there are trying to help you make you entry suitable to be accepted as a Guide Entry....I have always found them to be constructive in their advice..

thanks! I`ll go do it in a min. just spent the last half an hour trying to log on....thats what you get for deleting cookies when you cant remember you bloody log in name. better change that new password while I remember. lol

If you go to your entry on the right hand-side..(I think)..you should see the word 'Remove' click that..to remove..(I'm assuming your here via PC..not digibox)..

I don't know if you'll be able to enter it into Peer Review straight away..(if that's what your planning to do)..do the same as you did before..click 'Submit for Review'..this time choosing 'Peer Review' option..

There's a bit which is not very well liked..where your asked to make a comment..I'd suggest you say your new..and this is your first entry..or something simular....

If you need any more help..ask....it's not a problem....

more than likely! I`ve just logged back on so that I can have a play with it. going to have a look see what I can do and save anything that looks good on my comp and just preview it each time. then actually update the whole thing when I get it more how I like it. but if you feel like adding some bits yourself feel free!

ok..If you have any probs using GuideML..i'll be online til 8pm..about another half hour..give me a 'shout' if you need to....
