I'm bloody unfit.
Secretly Not Here Any More Started conversation Apr 17, 2008
Just had a fire drill at work, had to walk down 14 floors worth of stairs, down the road, back to the building and then up 14 floors worth of stairs.
I think I'm dying...
It's painfully obvious that even with my 6ft 8 frame, I can't carry best part of 20 stone around with me all the bloody time - especially with my knee problems and the family history of arthritis.
May (when I get back from my Edinburgh holiday) is a new start for me. Time to shed some flab.

Ha, I expected this to be a Sho journal.
I don't have even half the amount of weight to carry, but I'm not any fitter - if that's of any comfort to you.
I'm bloody unfit.

It sounds more like an episode of The Office to me...

Well in my "defence", I did put 4 stone on (and go up 2 jean sizes...) when I gave up smoking. I've never been trim, but I've never been quite this big.
Oh, and B, you're about right. What with our ludicrously inept fire warden forgetting where his hi-viz tabard was, and someone making apocalyptic proclamations of "in a real fire, you'd be dead now!"
I'm bloody unfit.

Giving up's probably good for you, but don't replace the fags with crisps, chocolate and lots of cups of sugar-laden coffee.
I'm bloody unfit.

I despise sugar in , and I don't think I'd manage to eat any more and than I already do without feeling , so that shouldn't be a problem. Trouble is, that the metabolism slows down when you stop smoking, so you gain weight even without eating more than before.
I'm bloody unfit.

I work on the 27th floor of my building, and every day for our lunch hour we walk all the way down to the lobby. Some people walk all the way up. I can't do it yet. I'm becoming rather unfit, too, largely on account of asthma and thyroid tumors, but also on account of not getting enough darned exercise.
Key: Complain about this post
I'm bloody unfit.
