It was good. Family time so just a mere glimpse of the tour eiffel and notre dame in a drive by (really, just to prove to that the pylons in the countryside were nothing on the real thing )

When we arrived, our host insisted we do a couple of laps of the tower before taking us back to his place...I've never been so scared in my life. It was like Wacky Races, then he got bored of trying to find a gap in the traffic and cut right across the flow of traffic

Well, I'd ordered a summink for himself off of Amazon weeks ago, now they've just told me that they won't have it in stock 'til after Christmas...so cancelled it and found something similar on an ebay shop thingy. Did lots of clickying and *think* I've bought it, dunno.
