Just poppin' around to a few of the new arrivals (or 'newbies' as we affectionately refer to you). Thought I'd welcome a fellow music lover - I listen to alot too. Tonight, it'll be music students...should be...interesting.
Hmmm, Criminal Law, nasty stuff, that, but someone's got to do it. It helps if thats where your interests lie. Good career, I'm sure.
Anyway, get yourself a or , some , whatever, from the well stocked buffet table. . And, uh, make yourself comfy, I think/hope you'll enjoy the place, alright. Bye for now *waves*

Hello from me too Muppet! You should know that now that I have seen your name, I have the muppet show song running through my head. It's time to draw the curtains. It's time to light the lights. *hope I'm remembering those lyrics correctly*

it's time to put on makeup for the muppet show tonight....
or something like that!
it's a very old nickname of mine, goes back years, and it inadvertently followed me online. i made a comment about being a complete muppet cos i'd never used the net before when i first went online, and the name kind of stuck!
the smileys here are so cool....i know it's juvenile of me, but i do love them!
we had in our bedroom this morning and the just sat there and looked at it. idiot child!

You'll have to put some smileys on your user page then - you can edit it anytime you want.
I really like the name Muppet, because I have always been fond of Jim Henson and his creations. Especially Kermit!
My cat had a bad habit of bringing live critters, like moles, into the house through her cat door. So now she has to meow to be let in or out. She's kind of mellowed some too, she doesn't want to go out nearly as much.

i fear the mouse was one of many, though we haven't seen any more, just the cat sniffing around in various places.
saw the first one this morning. we moved quite recently, and there are some rolls of carpet by the bed, waiting to be put on the stairs. mousey was perched on one of these, watching intently as i sat on the bed feeding the cat thomas treats (so addictive we are certain they put heroin in them or something). anyway, i yelled 'argh! a mouse, look!'(not from fear, but cos i was gobsmacked at seeing it sat there so calmly), and started yelling at the cat to go gat it. she just kept trying to bury her head in the bag of treats.
so, i picked her up and deposited her on top of the carpet, and she jumped back on to the bed and went after the bag of treats again....we had to catch the mouse ourselves and put it outside. it probably came straight back in again, but never mind....

Thanks!
Possibly the funniest thing about it was the man mountain standing there with this great long dangly mouse tail drooping from the side of his fist while he cooed over the mouse and stroked it!
Not really the idea, but at least he caught it.

My kitty is very clever, she figured out how to climb our sticker bush and get on our roof. She would meow at my window to get in. So we put a cat door in the window, and built a ramp to go up and down to the ground. She is probably the only cat anywhere with a private rooftop entrance.
You'll find there are a lot of cat people here on h2g2. Archangel Galaxy Babe just adopted a new cat.
I see from your space that you like movies. I'm a big movie fan myself. If you see something you would recommend, do give a holler.
Well, it's about time for me to catch some Goodnight!

night night! i'm guessing you're an antipodean, yeah? *g*
annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd...probably a kiwi, given the peter jackson reference?

Hehehehe! Nope, fooled ya there. I'm from the U.S. (Tennessee) I just have a strange sleep schedule. I'm awake when everyone is asleep, and asleep when everyone is awake. H2g2 suits me well in that respect, because you can always find someone online. And I really liked Two Towers. I studied film back in college, so I was so impressed at what Peter Jackson was able to accomplish.

Hi Ellen, in the grip of insomnia once again here. How're things in Memphis? I'd mentioned a newbie I'd welcomed to abbi, she pointed out that geographically, you were closer...guess she wasn't interested, or something *shrugs*. Anyway, check out her space, she's another Karen (in name at least) - U219366 .
greetings muppet!

Hmmm, she lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains - that's a really pretty place. Here in Memphis everything is so flat.
