Oh I suppose one can look at it that way. I personally take a birthday as somewhat of a badge of honour(or at least accomplishment), that we've triumphed & survived another year!
And as for wrinkles, rather a mark of distinction & accomplishment-to an extent I suppose. Not to mention adding a bit of character. I have a feeling they aren't a terrible problem though.
