I know what you mean, it really helped me through the last few weeks, I especially enjoyed this week with my unlimited access to the pc, shame it's over now
I follow several threads concerning language,e.g. the French and the German one, there are nice people too, but they stop coming there soon, perhaps they're intimidated too.

No i've never met her. I tend to stay on the more light hearted threads, rather than serious debates. I have been known to contribute to serious threads, but i tend to lose my cool if things start getting patrionising and argumentative. I just like a bit of fun and a natter after a long day at work

What time will your hubby be back? is it soon?

possible, cause he was very tired from the long drive down here and didn't intend to stay very long. So if I can't say goodby you'll know why
The weekly virus scan just started, I have no idea whether being online at the same time will affect it somehow, do you know it ?

I've no idea whether the scan will make a difference or not, my pc does'nt have that facility..in fact i don;t use it much, the joys of a digibox Actually i must go on the pc at the weekend and check my mail

So has the problem with telewest and the digiboxes been sorted out then?
Well, I think I'll rather go soon and pretend that I didn't do anything while the scan was running

Due to nuice weather hubby left to let his model airplanes fly
Guess what: Tony promised to check his shifts and asked for the threads to post if he can make it

Hi Jen,,
you really encouraged me to do some arm twisting, convinced hubby today to let me at the pc before my sister arrives, I'll not be able to sit at the pc once she's here.
Rain this morning, sunshine but quite chilly now.
On Sundays, the shops are closed here, if they want to open, they have to ask for permission, so many people are off on Sundays, it's a family day .
I'll probably not be back here before Wednesday or Thursday even,

i'm impressed, see you do have a 'will' afterall!
It used to be law here, many years ago that shops could not open on a Sunday. I wish they would bring it back We don't get paid any extra for working on a Sunday either Apparently the law was changed due to public demand!!
The weather has turned very cold again here lots of rain and strong cold winds! The sort of days when i would rather stay at home

Hubby just left for an appointment and the rest of the family is still sleeping, so I rushed at the pc
Weather isn't too bad here,sunshine at the moment, but they told us it would change during the day- typical April-weather

Hello Jen,
My sister and family left at about three o'clock,so now there's only the hoovering and things to do, but it's my day off tomorrow, so I decided to relax for the rest of the afternoon
Tony just told me that he's working on 10th, but will try to join later, but he has to find somebody taking care of his dog for the weekend first, so fingers crossed
weather is very cold here too, we even froze at work, because the central heating is off

I got my daughters birthday present sorted, and one from the kids too Did'nt get to meet them though. Sarah's boilers packed up, so she had to stay home and wait for an engineer. . She had no heating or hot water and its fs freezing here
I'm still waiting for the man to come and service my heating i have the strange feeling that he is'nt going to turn up I made the apointment for today as i knew i would be in....damn engineers never turn up when they are supposed to

Hows your day been?

My day's been ok, busy at work and then home to say goodbye to my sister.Off til Saturday now, but have to get up very early tomorrow morning because of an appointment with the doctor for my small boy

I'd love to get up late, but when i have the opportunity i'm always awake early!
