Well done you, i am so pleased for you, didnt want to say too much about your application for being accused of being biased!

Firstly, you have to work like a dog! then you get freaky weirdos attaching themselves to you and the amount of 'WASSSUUUUUUP' you come accross is unbelievable

Secondly you get to join a secret club where you find out everybody talked about your application and most important of all.... you get a nice new badge on your personal space!!

Best of all i get to take a day off!!!! If you need any help with which pages you should subscribe to etc to get 'help i am a newbie message' etc let me know. I have to say i think your policy of greeting people as written in your journal had you picked as a definate!

... By all means take the day off I could do with someone showing me all the ropes. There are loads of things I need to do (find the page of people to greet for a start) You certainly do work like a dog (must be a nicer synonym 'work' perhaps). I will put in the time I have (which is not anywhere near as much as you do Mort.)

I havent been brave enough to go looking at what people said about my application... though I may do so very soon. I had no intention or thoughts of becoming an ace or an angel when I started that journal entry - its been fun and interesting and worthwhile in itself but was never intended to get me spotted... although I am glad it did. I understand exactly where you are coming from about being biased and the diplomacy it is wise to take. I often do the same and get upset that noone has noticed. Keep on telling myself the best diplomats are unseen diplomats - always makes me feel better.

Gonna go to the newbie thread soon - sounds like a good place to start to me! So glad youre around!

Right -- I'm off to polish my shiny new badge. Tonight I be drinking mostly . Fancy another glass?

Thats a tough about your boyfriend , though not knowing is a little -- well open. That means its up to you to make it happen or not happen if you so choose! (possibly) Right now though I suggest the one thing you should be doing is looking after number one - and pampering yourself.

I on the other hand have had the oposite situation today. Hearing oneself described openly as girlfriend for the first time was really good, especially as I didnt think it was in his vocabulary. My day just keeps on getting better and better.

SSSShhh dont mention the 'thing'day!

Hasten to add other ACES work hard too! (before i get into trouble )

Its one of those long distance relationships and it isnt helped by listening to Robbie Williams 'Feel' (yay tickets to see him at Murrayfield!) but i need him here not 420 miles away. (definate need for a big sigh smiley)

Still i have a bottle of wine and 2 cats (both suffering from stress)to keep me company (visit Spiggys page at A989814 but he's still working on it )
and no need to get up early so what the ****

Still working on vet nursing uni project for the uni of life the universe and everything, done a half of the most complicated page - course structure and governing bodies etc except it has been changed 3 times in the last 5 years - so only 3 more pages to go that are a bit easier.

Men eh. So boyfriend too! Funny how long you wait for them to say it isnt it

We were talking about getting married tonight until i told him to think hard about it cos if it carries on like this (ie 400 miles apart) i will leave as it causes more hurt if we are not together.Well that was the bottom line anyway.

& & on hand, along with . Least you have Spiggy and Jaffa to keep you company for a while -- while things get sorted one way or another. Hope the helps... I find its help temporal but sometimes that is enough. I understand the distance thing its something we deal with too, although I am working with the same sort of disances as Nyssabird and Njan were. Life throws some big curved balls. I have to say that Robbie williams probably wouldnt help matters for me either -- probably make it worse! You still have room to work things out -- dont give up if you feel this way.

Have to say Spiggy is a really tallented cat. His page is pretty good for a cat I guess he must be excellent at mouse control (except when he throws it in temper.)
