Hey - Yes!

*goes into other room to look at map*

That works really well - at the moment we are going to go through Michigan, and then track north to Winnipeg, and on to Vancouver, so that works really well. (I just hope there is no-one in North Dakota or Montana we really have to see.... this could get complex!)

I would love to see you Dragon Lady.

Hi Karen. smiley - smiley How are you?

So... Ben and I have been getting details down on our itinerary. When you say 'central' SK, do you mean like, Saskatoon?

I don't know the first thing about road tripping across Canada. Is it reasonable to think something like... Winnipeg to Saskatoon, one day's drive; Saskatoon to Vancouver, two day's drive? Or is that just unrealistic?

Planning out the actual route is fun. smiley - bigeyes It really brings all these place names to life!

Yes. I mean Saskatoon.
I'm never too sure about travel times, because when I travel, I get there when I get theresmiley - laugh IF I get there at allsmiley - yikes (Bad car, you know.)
Winnipeg to Saskatoon works, if you pass through Regina, I think. Regina is our Capital in Saskatchewan, but it's dirty and not friendly like Saskatoon. Saskatoon is prettier.

Great. I persuaded GTB that you can't drive at 60mph in mountains even if you are going down hill smiley - winkeye and we are building in some contingency in Vancouver too, so hopefully that is all fairly cool.

We are definitely going to go through Saskatoon. We dont have fixed dates yet - or anything like - but the nearest I can give is that we will be there somewhere aroudn the 12th or 14th July. We are still working on being more certain about the dates, they can slip two or three days either way at the moment, so I don't want to be more precise than that, till we have worked it out a bit more.

I really want to see you smiley - dragonsmiley - diva

Hi

Dates at last!

It looks like we arrive on Wednesday 13th August, and spend all day Thursday 14th in Saskatchewan, before going on to Alberta on the 15th.

Is this any good for you?
