I always have problems with the PC, mainly because it has too much random crap on it that it crashes every ten minutes!

yup, the wonders of moderm technology .

Mind you though, there are good things to it.... like online shopping! And umm.... portable tiny things that play your favourite music and stuff.... I'm not too hot on technology, I kinda blunder through guessing how stuff works... heh.

Hello Siren , just thought I'd let you know I hadn't been abducted by aliens or anything. My computer was down for a couple months, so I lost touch with alot of people

ooooh not good, computers have a habit of that don't they? They just give up the ghost and die for a bit, then come back right as rain as if nothing ever happened..... Weird

Well, actually I had to 'force' this beast back into activity. So how've you been? Anything interesting going on?

Ah, I see... Did you threaten it with a big bucket of water? I sometimes find that helps.... Or conc sulphuric acid, that's good too
I'm not too bad, had a really rough crap patch of sh*t yo go through recently, but I'm slowly crawling my way out of it. I did a summer job at uni and cos they were impressed with me, they offered me an MPhil, so now I'm doing that and getting paid whilst I do it! Way hey
I've got a place on the Scope Kilimanjaro hikeaway, so I'm currently fundraising for them and then I'm off to hike up Kilimanjaro in June next year.
Once I've finished my MPhil, I'm taking a year out to travel and write up my thesis..... so it's starting to look up for me a bit now...

How are you? What have you been up to?

Oh, I'm fine. Nothin' too, too much goin' on right now. Was at a couple of our big summer festivals; our annual folk music festival & our Fringe theare festival. Lots of great music at the first, musicians from; Mali, Guinea, Cuba, Portugal, Italy, & of course, The U.K., the States & Canada. I was quite impressed with a Scottish guitarist named Tony McManus. And, of course a few of the others.

Spent my 19th year volunteering at the Fringe festival, modelled somewhat on Edinburgh's. Our's was the first in north america...so, lots of fun there. A variety of plays (both classic & more contemporary/irreverant), street performers/buskers, face painting & clowns, etc for the kids. A number of theatre companies from The U.K., & places like; Germany, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, & South Africa - speaking of which, hiking up Mt. Kilimanjaro sounds terrific!

Missed that..."theaTre" - good grief old Will Shakespeare would have me boiled in oil!! Obviously I could've spent some time takin' typing lessons.

Yeah, that's why I'm really stoked to be doing it, I'm gonna have the experience of a lifetime and at the same time I'll be raising money for charity! Fab!
And as for nothing much, sounds like you've been really busy to me. If that's your idea of not alot, I'd hate to see you when you're really busy!
Anyhoo, I best be off, I have to get into the lab before I fall asleep, went out last night, probably not such a good idea with work in the mornin and all...
