I'm feeling almost normal now too thankfully, feel as though I've lost a week of my life as it just passed in a total haze, or should that be daze? smiley - erm

Bumped into Martin yesterday in Somerfield and spoke to him this time instead of hiding! Poor boy had to carry 2 heavy baskets as he didn't have a £1 coin for the trolley!

Anyway, glad you're feeling better. Back to normal now eh, boooring! Never happy neither I am, always moaning about something. Bye for now smiley - smiley

I think e-mailing a picture of it would be a bit extreme! Like you said, it's got a six year life expectancy so it's not going anywhere anytime soon! smiley - biggrin What else do you have for me to see? smiley - blush

smiley - biggrin That's great news about Martin! When you see him next, please tell him congrats from me and Tony. Can't believe he's getting married next year though! Why do my friends do that to me? Get engaged one year then married the next while I'm STILL WAITING AFTER 11 GODDAM YEARS!!!!!!!!!!smiley - sadface

Anyway, hope you've completely recovered from your illness. Do you think we're ready to move into the e-mail stage then the text stage then the phoning stage then the meeting stage then the all of the above stage!!!?!!! After all, it is Christmas, goodwill to men and all that nonsense! Want to start the year 2004 afresh and try to be a better friend to you as best friends have came and gone over the years but you and I have been friends for 12 years now and I want us to be close friends for a lot more years (till we're old and withered and complaining even more than we do now!) smiley - smiley

You just want to see my light bulbsmiley - eureka don't you? Admit It!smiley - winkeye
Yes of course. I will be out most evenings next week, but i'll call you as soon as i can- lets not make solid arrangements to phone anymore-afterall if you're not in, i can just try another day!

As for marriage- you know we do live in the enlightened 21st century allegedlysmiley - laughthere's nothing to stop you naming a date, and TELLING, head tha ba' that's when you're getting married-end of argument!!

Either that, or there's still that long queue of would-be-suitors awaiting their chance....

smiley - biggrin You've caught me out, off course I want to see the lightbulb! Say hi to it from me!

Yeah, I'm really busy too over the next few weeks with shopping, family, football etc. but looking forward to speaking to you, it will be nice.

If I named a date to get married Tony would run a mile! smiley - run He says he will one day definetly but we've not got the money just now and I can see his point there. I only want a small wedding in a registry office followed by a meal then later that night a big party for ALL family and friends but it will still cost a bit of money. I suppose he's just being sensible.

Anyway, I'm gonna go and attempt to put this Christmas tree up. I've got to do better than I did on Saturday night helping Tony's sister put their mum and dad's tree up and decorate it while drinking a few triple apple schnapps! smiley - drunk

Noooo not at allsmiley - bigeyes Just because my house is full to the rafters with cinnamon flavoured things, and bottles of Bailleys, has non stop Blue, Boyzone and Ronin playing on the stereo, and has all it's walls plastered with pictures of David Duchovny and Henrik Larrson(hey what can i say- tastes changesmiley - winkeye) doesn't mean you would be at all comfortable here.

Only kidding of course- not going to remake past mistakes-Phone you soonsmiley - smiley

Booze will have to be involved next time thoughsmiley - bigeyes

Love driving home late at night- got the car up to about 90 for a few seconds before chickening outsmiley - evilgrinsmiley - cool Still want to see just how fast the thing can go, but bad luck with things like that, runs in the family. The *one and only* time dad tried to see how fast his car would go, the police just happened to be in the vicinitysmiley - doh

I'm pretty sure the fact that the dial goes up to 120mph is extreme wishful thinking combined with the requirement for a steep hill, but hey, you just never know....
