Forgot to say to you, did you know John e-mails Tony and not me!?! Anyway, got an e-mail from him today, ok so it was a forward but it had a wee note on it also so I replied. Maybe I'll get e-mails from him now too! smiley - smiley

Yep, John and Tony get on quite well by all accounts. Just one more reason we should go to the pub more often! Mind you that probably involves drinking in Glasgow- something I try to avoid, but we should really get something semi-regular set up, especially since you, John and Martin (for now anyway) all live within a mile or two of each other.

I might not always join you, but you five, at least should start to meet up.

Just spent an insanly sad amount of time on my day off, doing housework-but not any old houswork. No, I have just spent well over an hour taking my Dyson apart and cleaning all the bits and filters etc smiley - erm

I even went onto ask Jeeves to find out if I should wash the HEPA filter, cause it looked grubby. The answer, in case you ever lie awake at nights worrying about such things is, No. It apparentaly never needs cleaned. But you do clean the spongy filter every 6 months- wash it in soapy water. I think it's at least a year since i cleaned it lastsmiley - whistle

Anyway- i'm now making matters worse, by spending time writing about cleaning my Dyson smiley - yikessmiley - ermsmiley - dontpanicsmiley - wah

I'm off to Tesco's smiley - run

Oh I'll have to remember that about the Dyson, I've had it a year now and not cleaned any of it! I love my Dyson as you know so will have to look after it better. Not long back from Braehead, spent a fortune which you probably did too in Tesco!

Oh, you naughty, naughty Dyson abusersmiley - devilsmiley - biggrinsmiley - yikes

Read your instructions and do the right thing, or yer hoover will be confiscated and given to a more caring homesmiley - tongueout

Yes I did spend a fortune, but all on good stuff to keep me functioning for the next couple of months. It is amazing how the cost of shopping gradually creeps up over the years though, isn't it? I still buy roughly the same stuff I did when I first got the house, but now I spend at least £20 more than I used to for the same periodsmiley - erm

May have to return to ASDA's on occasion it seems. Tesco's, unfortunately don't stock some things I like. Oh well smiley - erm

Slap on the wrists for me smiley - smiley

I go to Morrisons mainly as it's just up the road, sometimes Somerfield, I find these places cheaper than Tesco. I like Asda but it's always really really busy with mainly scum!

Taps that are left running for no apparant reason whatsoever. It makes me wanna rip someones head off.

Also as there seems to be a musical theme going at the moment. Westlife. Why?? They are awful, almost every single song they destroy is a cover version. If they had talent or an original thought, their heads would explode..... Here's hoping!! If I have to hear one more stuide swwony girl going on about how fabulous the Westlife song, 'Mandy'is, I will not be held responsible for my actions.
Let me make this quite clear to every swoony teen out there: MANDY IS NOT, I REPEAT NOT A WESTLIFE SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a cover version of a Barry Manilow track. Now usually Im not high on the list of Barry Manilow fans, but that song had a special meaning, now due to its destruction by some braindead boyband, it has ruined my enjoyment!

Westlife, low life, go and get your own life!!! And your own songs!!! GRRRRR

And inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale!!

smiley - biggrinAnyone would think she didn't like Westlife! I could go onto that thread and tell her that actually out of all the songs they have relased not that many of them are cover versions and in actual fact there are loads of songs on all their albums that they have actually written themselves but I'm not going to bother cos she'll just have something else to say about them and I hate people slagging of Westlife cos I lurvve them!smiley - biggrin Actually, I could go on and say one of my pet hates is people who slag off Westlife! Everyone has their different tastes when it comes to music, world would be a boring place if everyone was the same blah blah blah.....
