I don't know about you but I've never had a good idea in the bath. Not one.

I once had a good diea in a bath. Can't remember what, but it was definatly good. Probably involved words that rhyme with purple.

Can't remember when I last had a bath. But I think a lot in the shower.

You read these books about creativity that tell you to 'take a nice long walk' or 'have a nice warm bath'. All pretty useless advice.

I have the flu. I have an excuse.
I'm going back to bed.
Adios.

Perhaps the good idea would be to get out of the bath once it's gone cold .
Hope you are feeling better Spinks Secret

Today I'm starting to feel better thanks. Was coughing last night until I was sick, but I'll spare you the details.
I've heard that alternating between hot sauna and cold bath/shower is good. This can be improved if preceded by strenuous exercise. Ouch.
I've written some songs in the shower, one in particular I remember is the catchy "my old friends the trousers".

I've never had a good idea in the bath either, though the best poetry I ever wrote I wrote in the shower.

I have lots of good ideas in the bath. Unfortunately most of them stay in the water and go down the plughole.

Muse,
Difficult; Yes.
But on the plus side, someone else might come across those ideas later on, when they are floating in the Thames or far, far out to sea. So they don't really get wasted. All that suffers is my ego, as I won't get the credit or reward. But that's mostly imaginary...
Also on the plus side; so far it's only my ideas and not any trapped dangly bits that have gone down the plughole.

I heard somewhere that a large American technology corporation installed a large shower facility at their offices for engineers and designers to use if they got a mental blockage.
Can't remember the name of the large American company in question. Maybe I should go and have a nice hot shower to see if it helps...
