...some people look so self conscious when they're dancing, like they're actually *scared*...I feel like giving them a beer and telling them it's all in fun...poor kids...

Yeah I know what y'mean, I like to move around when I dance - if & whhen someone actually manages to coax me out onto a small & (inevitably crowded) dancefloor I'm constantly glancing over my shoulder & invariably stepping on a toe or inadvertantly bumping at least one person. Not to mention feeling a bit "boxed in". I can have fun/I'm 'loose enough', or whatever, but I have to really control myself...y'know?

Exactly...I don't work well in crowds and get extremely unsettled when people touch me...which is one of the main reasons I don't dance with boys 
Besides my girl and my brother (and my family) there's maybe 3 or 4 other people I feel *comfortable* dancing with...other times I feel too nervous to actually relax and have fun...
