yes! i agree. knitting on hootoo is much better. i can knit in RL, but it i dont concentrate then it gets all bulgy and i get a few holes in it.... but here is perfect!!

i've found a book to live in! i want to go and live in one of the moomin books, by tove janson. have you ever read them?

*takes up her own knitting*
annother advantage of this is that in RL all i know how to knit is scarfs... but here i can happily knitt a perfect sweater... just like i'm doing now

I only recently re-learned to knit. We learnt in High School but I was completely and utterly at it...this time I did a quick refresher curtesy of a book from the craft shop. Definitely better than the first time around, but I know I'll never be very quick or very good. Mostly it's supposed to be something that keeps my mind busy and stops me smoking so much. I suppose like fishing for people who are into that kind of thing

I'm knitting a hooded shoulder wrap. Kind of a cape but shorter...I'm sure there's a name for them but I don't know it

I haven't read any of the moomin books, you might have to fill me in . The only book I oculd think of that I'd like to live in was "Pride and Prejudice"...just because I like the era.

And most of the books I really like are ...or people are stupid...and I get enough of that in RL

the moomin books are great! well if you like that kind of thing. they're little kids stories, but i sill like to read them
they're about this family of creatues called Moomins. theres moominmama, moominpapa, and thier son moomintroll. and also a whole bunch of cute little creatures. i'd love to live in the books, everyone in them seems so nice... i'd like to go there....
i wonder if you'd like them, or even if you can buy them where you are...hmm.....
