Actually going over to my sister's tomorrow to organise Mum's 50th...that'll be a blast, especially considering that Mum's not actually *talking* to me at the moment

No, I haven't heard the new TMBG record I've been listening to Melanie and Kate Bush all week

I'll have to track it down

I was in trouble on Monday
every 2nd Monday I go to my mums for dinner but this week I slept in
the TMBG cd (don't know its name) is ok, not their best, but a couple of good tracks

The thing that bothers me is that I didn't really do anything wrong. But I suppose that's the way it goes sometimes, right ?

Oh well, yesterday I went into the City and bought myself some wool and needles...now I have to remember how to knit again

Well it’s just about to go into winter here, so if I can brush up on my skills quickly, I’ll be able to have scarves and the like ready for 2007

Well it'd probably be preferable to having to wear it anyway

at least if I framed it I wouldn't leave it in the pub or on the bus like I usually do with scarves and gloves (but funnily enough almost never do with cigarettes)

I lose things all the time...phones especially

I've lost 2 pairs of glasses, at *least* 5 phones, 2 jackets, a coat, a cape (), at least 3 wallets about 100 cigarettes and a million dollars...

...and that's only since I've moved out of home

I've been thinking about getting my body pierced, just so I can attach all my lose-ables to various parts of my body

I presume you'll stick to using the nose/ear/cheek piercings for things you expect to need in the pub
Otherwise I think you'll be exchanging 1 set of problems for another
eg keeping your lighter on a piercing must have unfortunate consequences

The other main problem would be that the last time I got my ears pierced I got a nasty itchy rash…and nothing like an itch to distract you into forgetting your lighter

it wouldn't work as well for heavier items either
I can't imagine where you'd hang an umbrella from

If I ever start *that* kind of trend then you're more than welcome to dislodge said umbrella from wherever it rests and beat me repeatedly about the ehad until I see sense!
