Well there are two things, as far as I know, that Catholics are good at...getting drunk and having kids...
...and it's always best to get as much practise in as possible isn't it

I was always told practice makes perfect and you can't aim higher than perfection, although I'm not sure teachers/parents had drinking in mind

I don't know about my teachers, but I'm pretty sure it's what my Dad means ...

My Dad's a champ 
...one of the best people to sit back and have a drink with

...we go to trivia on Mondays and have a few 
s together...and every now and again we manage to drag him down to the pub

I love drunks when I'm sober...I've always felt more comfortable around them...maybe it's just because I grew up with them...??
Aye, tonight I will be joining the inebriated...and indeed tomorrow night...
...but in the meantime, I'm off to lunch, back in an hour or so !

people aren't good customers though
here am I sitting in a call centre and I'm dealing with people who can barely speak, want taxis but don't know where they are, demand I find them a takeaway thats open at 4 A.M. etc. I'd better stop before this looks like the retail rants thread.
Theres a perfect point when you're
The trick is reaching it as quick as possible and then staying there as long as possible
i've mastered the first but I'm still learning the second

I guess I'm one of the luck people who can always get a pub home frm the pub, and always knows what's open when I'm on me way hone ...
...I do know what you're saying about being though...I find it runs especially tru when it comes to pool...there's a perfect number of s you can drink before the whole game opens up and you're on fire...

Thats a problem I have with 
I know how many have a good effect, I can even make a good estimate of how many 
will do it, but slips down so easy that I usually end up very very when I drink it

I went to my girl's end of year break up last year...we finished a bottle of wine (each )...by the time we got to the pub it was on for young and old...
...it was heaven for her though...totally and their had been a weeding during the day, so there were Irish men in suits all ove rthe pub...

I've been to 1 irish wedding, there was a fight, and I'm told the wedding isn't complete without at least 1 (for the men anyway)
