Major apologies for the recent vacancy- my computer got fried 
Had to replace the logic board. I'm thinking of actually upgrading this thing- it's way too slow. Alright, I'm off to update!

Winter vacation is finally over.

Well, my winter vacation is over. I think it wasn't long enough, but I'm sure that most of you would say it was too long. Not much happened over the break- I got some pretty nifty Christmas presents (including a cool Monty Python page-a-day calendar
) and I stayed up till midnight on New Year's Eve.
One of the rather cool things I managed to do was finish a project I had been putting off too long- creating a home network!
I now have internet access on my personal Mac (an old Performa 5200CD that I'm trying to squeeze as much life out as possible), which means that I'll have more time on h2g2 since I don't have to share the main computer with my family, especially my sister
My face is hurting right now because yesterday an icicle fell off the roof and put a big scratch on it. 
I don't know why I bothered to add that detail, guess I just needed to do some writing.
The bell just rung. I better get to class because my teacher'll get reaally mad if I'm late. It's almost the end of the semester and I have all these really big exams.Deus
Note to Pythonists: I'll update everything this afternoon. Be prepared for a big suprise!!!

Well, I've finally returned to h2g2 after an eventful weekend- the power went out for the entire city for the whole weekend! There's been tons of snow here, which apparently knocked a cable out of service and left us without power. So, it looks like I have backlog, backlog, and more backlog to wade through. Wish me luck.Deus

Snowflakes falling softly on my cheek...

The season of winter is nearly upon us. Snow has fallen already in my town, just last weekend in fact. (The first measurable snow; the first REAL snow was back on Halloween.) Nothing much is happening in real life; schoolwork is at a minimal level, giving me more time to do things I enjoy, such as playing out in the snow. Which brings me to an interesting story. Last night, after finishing my editing for 
, I went outside to build a snowman of epic proportions. Unfortunately, the bottom snowball grew so big that, if I had continued, would've made the snowman taller than my house. 
So, not knowing what to do, I decided to roll the snowball to the top of my street (for those of you who haven't seen my street, it's basically a big hill). Can you guess what happens next? You guessed it! I accidently let the snowball go. It rolled all the way down the street, and would've gone down into the big forest if it hadn't been for the stop sign at the bottom of the hill. The snowball hit the sign and exploded! 
Snow went flying everywhere.
Now I've forgotten what I was going to write...
