Welcome to Jezebel's bit
Fawning greetings, idle surfer.
This is where I'm supposed to tell you a bit about myself... but as Jezebel is my nom de plume, I'd better tell you about her. She's a biblical character, and here's her brief resume, as described by some do-gooding bible website.
"Jezebel, the archetype of a wicked woman, was notorious for her vicious scheming and defiance of the prophets as recorded in the Old Testament (Kings I and II).
"Jezebel was an evil woman. Ahab, the king and her husband, a weak willed man whom she dominated and led to do much evil. She encouraged him to worship idols while she personally made sure all the prophets of God (who she could catch) were killed. God eventually sent Elijah to declare judgement on Ahab and Jezebel. Ahab was to die and have dogs lick his blood and his descendants cut off. Nasty!
"As for Jezebel she was to be eaten by dogs. Jezebel lived for quite a while before God's judgement caught up with her. Apart from idol worship, witchcraft and sheer wickedness she also used the spirit of domination and seduction to get her ways. Jezebel, who taunted her enemy Jehu after he had defeated her son, was thrown to the ground from a window, and her body driven over by Jehu in his chariot. When she came to be buried, it was discovered that most of her corpse had indeed been eaten by dogs."
What a nice lady! I adopt her name with pride.

I appear in various other guises across the net so if, like me, you like an internet hunt you might be able to work out who Jezebel is IRL if you can be bothered.
