I rested a bit, decided I wasn't sleepy, had some sandwich, finished my art test graphics, and if I get accepted I'll show 'em to you. I think I did pretty good, but I'm still a bit nervous.

*giggle* I don't know if it's "Animal House" per say, as it's a movie it's probably much more than would *all* happen in one place... truth is stranger than fiction, though. Western Washington University is supposed to be a major "Party School"...

Oh, FANGS... I thought that might be what you meant, but by then I'd already posted and was working on something... my fangs, hehe. They're very cool! By the time you get set up at home I can probably have pictures of them to send. They're dental acrylic caps, custom-made from my positives (cost about $200), and they fit over my... er.. *makes a crude representation of mouth*... the V's are canines, and u's are the other front teeth:

VuUUuV

Yeah? Okay, pretend that's my upper front teeth, they're two double caps, and they fit over each 'Vu' set. The fang Canines are about 1 and 3/4 centemeters long, almost dagger-like, very pointy; then the "u" teeth are slightly shorter, and curved gently in. My parents say they're very scary, hehehe. Only problem is that they can give me a slight headache- it's sort of like wearing a retainer. Very snug. They're held in just by suction- very sturdy! Pop right out (with a little gentle wiggling) when I need to remove them. About the only problem is making sure I brush my teeth before putting them on- only to make sure my two front teeth are as white as the acrylic. Much better than my old cheap set (under $20), which were only on my canines, and not very realisticly shaped... and the color was much daker than my teeth. They worked for the time; I have pics of me wearing them with vampy makeup (when I had long hair) on my website. I'm planning on making a long red human hair wig to wear with various costumes, because I like keeping my real hair short. Vampire girls look better with long hair.. hehe.

*thinking about highschool*... Not quite "Animal House" (far from it), but it was sometimes very crazy, too... especially the Homecoming Assemblys! I never went to one (far too loud), but I've heard stories and seen video footage. There's one event called "Ugly Drink"... which is basically a two-team relay race... transporting mouthfulls of vile slop from one bucket to another accross the gym. The worst story about that I ever heard was when one kid took a cup-full from the wrong bucket- the one that the stuff would be spit *into*... the one that would invariably get vomited into at least a few times before the end of the game. I mean, that's a hazing-type stunt, isn't it? *laughs*

Hm... do you call it "some Cappuccino" too, then? I always refer to them singularly, because I've only got them made one at a time. Some places have bulk Cappuccino machines, or a pitcher of cappuccino... but the best kind are made with one fresh shot of espresso, fill the cup halfway with steamed milk, cap it off with a thick head of foamed milk- flavor with syrup it desired, top off with a dusting of cinnamon, nutmeg, or cocoa powder. I like Lattes, myself- more milk. *grin*... We have an at-home espesso machine, and I'm a regular barrista with it.

as for the drinking games in highschool did'nt do anything (well not quite) when i was in highschool, but when i was in the army that was a different matterlots of fralcohol was consumed, now sadly i don't get the chance to play the clown unless i'm out with my mates.

i was once in the distant darkness of time the dean of drunk...

i used to party all night, crash about 5am & wake up at 7am crack a beer & start all other again.

nowadays i have to phych my self up ...but i'm still game, plenty of life in the old dog yet..(laughs)*lol*

Well it's my parent's machine- remember, I live at home, lol. It's actually our second... no, third machine. They break down a bit eventually.

You didn't know I was a red-head? That's funny, hehehe...

Chocolate Chai! Ah, you might not think it sounds very good, but I like it. Chai is a spiced tea (comes either pre-made, or a powder, or leaves to brew), usually sweetened, meant to be served either cold or hot, with milk. Chocolate Chai is like a combination of instant cocoa mix and chai mix- add water, get a cup of cocoa with a subtle underflavoring of spiced tea. I like cinnamon in my cocoa... and, oh, very best in the winter (especially up skiing), is to make instant cocoa mix (the kind you just add water to) with a cup of coffee smiley - smiley

The "Ugly Drink" isn't really a drinking game- the "drink" has no alcohol in it whatsoever, but rather... it's a swill of... just about anything that's technically non-toxic... like condiments. Spicey, sometimes- one year a jar of Kim Chee (fermented Korean cabbage dish, something like sour kraut, but spicier and practically rotton)... usually always pickled pigs' feet... bottles of ketchup, mustard, that kind of thing. Looks like stinky, chunky vomit. *gag*

Ahh my typing... lol... it's mostly due to the long hours of instant messaging I used to do, just being on the computer a lot. I learned to type very early; my dad had computers in the house ever since I was about 3 years old- we used to have the old Texas Instruments setup, with the keyboard that hooked to the TV. I even remember typing in a long code program (hunt and peck at the time; copied off a piece of paper) to make the voice synthesizer "talk" whatever was typed in. Dad made us a spelling test program in DOS, started out where you typed in your spelling list how it was spelled, then worked with it a second time to get the computer to say the word properly (the voice thing follows its own phonetical rules), then start the test, and it would say the word, we'd type it in, go on to the next, and then it would give us a score at the end. Pretty neat, huh? *grin*

*laughs* ... I remember watching an interview of an American actor who was filming in Europe with a lot of British actors in the crew and the group; he said they were always pushing drinks after work in the pub, "oh, go on, you'll have one!" (slap on the back)... and then if he got sick, he said they would practically congradulate you if you threw up! And that they'd often go to the pub and get drunk on the lunch hour, so best to get all the good shots before lunch, or something like that. lol... I can't remember who it was...

Aww, kittyyys... my friend Ashley in NC named her gray kitty Daisy smiley - smiley

I don't much like dogs at all, really; it's the smell that gets me. I once dog-sat for three dogs for my dad's Highschool friend Jerry (who hosts a Pumpkin Carving Party every October, it's great! my dad does the website, and I always help with the graphics if dad needs it)... and he lives quite a ways away, so I was house-sitting as well. In a rather old-ish house. One of the dogs was old and blind and arthritic and partially deaf, so I had to take special care with her, and they all had their specific food requirements... let alone just house-sitting, it was rather harrowing. I'm glad I did it though; it forced me to step outside my comfort bubble, and finally drive a long distance on the freeway by myself. I did accidently miss one of the exits, and ended up driving to the Airport, having to ask directions, then turning around and making it home okay.

Hm... We have a lot of Herbal Tea in the house, actually... I'll let you know if there's anything good you might try smiley - smiley

I don't know of any really myself, but I'll ask my dad. He's got all our computers fortified. Er... I think we've got something called "Viruscan"... I think. *shrug*

I'm making a wig with horse hair and yak hair, it's a Cats type wig, mm... it's taking a long time, won't be finished for quite a while. The colors I'm using are mixed brown, "rootbeer", steel gray, white, and black.

Hm... I've got a bit of a headache, I'm going to go take something for it.

*laughs* Oou, check about for good deals on keyboards. I know they're not too bad; hey, I'll just swipe ours and post it off to you... "Oou, I dunno where the wireless keyboard went, dad! Kind of like when you lost the remote and we had to get a new one... Well it wasn't *that* great anyway, was it?" ... smiley - winkeye

hehehe... kidding... I wouldn't send you ours; the mouse is terrible on it. Really awkward to use and doesn't respond as good as it should.

I must've been really sleep-deprived; I stayed in bed 'till 3 in the afternoon! *finishes off caramel latte* yummm. I think a latte is probably much healthier than a regular cup of coffee with milk... more milk to the latte, just flavored with a shot of concentrated espresso. And skim milk- it froths up all rich and creamy with the steamer! Only thing that might be a problem is the syrup. Just gotta watch the empty calories in that stuff... Oh, you don't really need a steamer to get frothy milk, though. Jamie Oliver did this one trick with an empty milk jug, you heat the milk over the stove, pour it into the jug about halfway, cap it, grip it (with a towel 'cause the milk's hot!), and shake away! The heat does something to the milk that makes it froth up all lovely. Skim milk froths the most; I'm guessing it's something to do with the chemistry of the molecules... something that the milkfat would hinder... *shrug* I've steamed milk so many times with the little steam attatchment that I don't even need to use a thermometer to know when it's in the 150-170F range; the sound of the steaming turns from a higher-pitched little bubble sound to a low rumbly sound. I noticed one time when watching the thermometer that the sound would change once it hit 150, so I decided it'd just be easier to listen for it and not have to wash the thermometer (steamed milk foam sticks to stuff when it's hot and needs a little soap to get off).

There, some interesting(?) information for you... *giggles*

Herbal tea- I just checked our cupboards, and we've got a good variety. You wanted an option besides Elderflower and Lemon? I don't know what brands you can find locally, but Celestial Seasonings and Stash make a wide variety of herbal teas. There's usually a combonation pack with a variety. Mint teas are good, then there's Mandarine orange, and Chamomile blends. smiley - smiley
