Hey, matey!
wazzow Posted Jan 17, 2003
oooohhhh...behave...
any idea wot the thought of fresh latte does to you when you've been travelling since 0400 hrs...."yummy" (hugs one self)
so my likkle tired ,how are you today then..
did you recieve the emails i sent you ok..?,sorry if one was a bit risque i was distracted by one of my colleagues & before i new it i'd sent it to you...(laughs..smiles)
just got into work & as its friday i'm listening to a little bit of robbie williams & thinking its nearly the weekend whhoooopppeee..
so are you feeling refreshed now then..i hope so, how the fangs..
anyway i did'nt realise you liked the vampire thing..?,
do expand the wig, fangs & costume sounds interesting.
thanks for thinking of me with regards to the keyboard ,thankfully it's only shortlived as i'm going online at home from this coming wednesday...*lol*.
have you managed to finish the wig & did you have a nice walk with your mum yesterday..(laughs)..here it's cold have a ..
Hey, matey!
Jen >^@.@^< Posted Jan 17, 2003
*sigh* Actually, this morning apparantly Mom and David forgot about the walk and decided to have a long drawn-out argument instead. ^_^... that's why I stayed in bed 'till 3.
Wigs take a loonnng time to do! Besides, I don't even have the main part of the cap constructed. It's just the sideburns. I don't really expect to finish it for quite some time.
*rubs head* I think I've got some form of cabin fever. Haven't been out of the house in a long time.
I like Vampire stuff; the new-age type vampires (Anne Rice-ish), not Dracula. The fangs are cool, and after wearing them for a while, I'm getting more used to them. Kind of like wearing an orthodontic retainer. But pointy! My Vampire outfit right now consists of my Star Trek costume from the waist down (pants and boots), with a velvet boat-neck long-sleeved T-shirt, makeup, and a dark jeweled choker. I want to eventually put together some more interesting garb, get some intense contact lenses... and a long dark auburn wig. I love the fang style I chose- they compliment my mouth nicely. Very hard to miss, hehe. Little pointy tips show just about every time I open my mouth. And they match my tooth color! And the customised touches are just really great- they line up all pretty... I can't make my back teeth meet (so I can't chew)... but vampires don't need to chew, do they? lol.
Hey, matey!
wazzow Posted Jan 17, 2003
oh yeah no wot you mean....(about arguments) hehe
well look on the brightside at least you were able to have a bit of a lie in(laughs).
sounds interesting i look forward to seeing the pictures.<biggrin<
yea i like the vampires too although i've never actually dressed up as one,i've read all the books & pretty much seen all the films..(smiles) don't know about you but the comic book hero blade has pretty much glammed there image up quite a lot & ok (not that i'm a perv or anything)(smiles & lol) but they do tend to give the female of the species a rather glam revealing costume which i must say peeks the interest(after all i'm only male..!)
although it is a bit dated i must say i've always liked the dinner suit approach to the male vampire attire, although tom cruise did'nt do so bad in an interview with a vampire.
on the subject of wigs long & auburn is good but try it with your own colour..i personally (strange i have an opinion & have'nt even seen you yet..oh well ..(muses & smiles some)..)think you'll be surprised red hair comes accross really well, especially when it catchs the light hehe...(moonlight that is)*lol*
so ..sorry..i 've just opened my email you got what i sent you ok..then.
phew i'm thirsty fancy a ..?
Hey, matey!
Jen >^@.@^< Posted Jan 17, 2003
Auburn is my hair color, lol. Auburn means dark reddish brown. I just want to go a little step darker/more saturated, maybe. I have one of the darker red-head color schemes; luckily blonde body hair (arms and legs and face), dark eyebrows, brown eyes, not really very freckly.
The dinner suit Dracula thing never really did anything for me. Not scary, not sexy. Just... corny. lol. I guess it's just that that look has been over-done, and I like things that are different.
It's too late for a ! Caffine. Everyone's in bed. Too much noise.
Hey, matey!
wazzow Posted Jan 17, 2003

Cabin fever. I was a little down, but my liddle kiddles is so cuuuuute... hard to be sad wif a widdle furball like thaaat... *peers*... Awww she's sleepin' all curled up on my chaiiir... awwww... kitty kiddles...
Well, my parents are usually in bed by 11 (though it can vary; sometimes my mom hits the hay early, or she stays up late when my sister has friends over, make sure they're not getting into trouble)... my sister's usually up late... and so's David... but it's mostly my dad we have to keep quiet for, as he gets up early to go to work (though not as early as you! And drives a nice comfy car, so... dang he's got it way cushier... tsh...)
*watches two strippers crawl over Dave Attel in a limo*... that looks uncomfortable and awkward...
Hey, matey!
wazzow Posted Jan 17, 2003

Hey, matey!
Jen >^@.@^< Posted Jan 17, 2003
*laughs* Insomniac with Dave Attel. It's a show on Comedy Central; comedian Dave Attel goes to different cities and is up all night, checking out the night life with a camera crew. The strippers were not naked, btw.
My Skittles kitty is sooo cute... and she has a very loud purr. Sometimes she drools. Sometimes she nips.
Hey, matey!
wazzow Posted Jan 17, 2003
biscuit my ginger betty has a habit of drooling as well, she also has a strange habit of pulling her upper lip up ,kinda like shes trying to do a poor impression of a ..(laughs)
daisy has a really load purr,,(specially when you wake up with her in your face)..(laughs & smiles)

Hey, matey!
Jen >^@.@^< Posted Jan 18, 2003
I was pretty lonely today... stayed in bed 'till 3 again, mostly because the entire house was quiet and I didn't feel like there was any pressure to get up. *sigh* There *is* stress in not having enough to do. School will do me good, get me on a schedule. I think only the fact of knowing that will allow me any chance to enjoy my last bits of leasure without feeling guilty. Well, it's not as if I do absolutely nothing. I do help with the laundry, the dishes, and general cleaning up (more now than before my trip)... I see it as practicing to be a good house guest
Ooo, watching Gosford Park with the extras. Really well made film, lots of neat information. It's the sort of film making I'm really into- the kind that *doesn't* get the huge ratings (because it really is a very tame film, a little too complex for the mass audience to appreciate), but wins awards for stuff anyway. It got the Bafta for costumes, even though it was up against Moulin Rouge and LOTR. Pretty neat, I thought
I'm so glad that technology has become available enough where indipendant film-makers *can* produce a product to fill the gap that Hollywood films leave in the genre range; I mean, low-budget film-making doesn't have to be poor-quality film-making anymore. Story and acting are what make a good movie, not the special effects budget and big name stars- those just make the *money*.
Urgh. I've gotta go put kitty to bed, she doesn't seem content to stay in my room all night.
Hey, matey!
wazzow Posted Jan 18, 2003
hey mate to see your feeling a bit down..have a & a from me...eh...
yur write about small budget filmd though, you only have to look at our four weddings & a funeral made on a small budget but became such a big hitter at the awards, likewise (one of my fave films)lock stock & snatch again reasonably small budgets compared to the big boys in film making.
anyway come on jen..hey going back to school will fill your day & although i might not be able to chat to you at these sort of times (& although i have'nt met you) were mates well i think so anyway,so if you want a chat or maybe a bit of advise from an old crumbly who(not that old before you say...!)(laughs) is a little way away then leave a message for me ..coz i will definately leave you one on either of the threads that have been started or on your personal space...don't get down..
you sound like someones been having a go at you for not pulling your weight...
listen don't know what time is with you now but if you want a chat latter today i shall be "on my digibox" (not literally..not a pretty sight)(laughs)..
so come on then whats phased you out & the cause of you being down then..?
Hey, matey!
Jen >^@.@^< Posted Jan 18, 2003
*laughs* you miss-read me entirely; I'm not really down now. And *I'm* the one who's currently giving myself a hard time for not doing anything (although mom's done that in the past, recently she's left off a bit, so I'm kind of taking over the job myself..!)- well, trying not to (give self hard time), that is. I sort of spelled it all out in a confusing way, I guess.
Hum.
I doodled a picture of a cat and a paper fish... been enjoying Gosford Park before it gets returned tomorrow. *yawn* think I'm gonna go to bed and watch it one more time (without commentary)... then go to sleep. Been very computer-y lately, might take Sunday off. Sounds pretty good, actually... lol... sitting at a computer all day for any reason is stressful on the eyes and wrists, and a break is probably what I need.
Chit-chat to you on Monday, then
Hey, matey!
wazzow Posted Jan 18, 2003
no worries...
i'm nights next week in at 2000hrs,so that might be a little more friendly on the sleep aspect of things..specially for you.
anyway have a good weekend..don't do anything i would'nt (laughs)..
speak to you monday night.
take care

hi jen,
hope you managed to have a good "computer free" weekend.
how's things then.
ok the time here is now an incredibly boring 2250hrs (yawn yawn),& the excitement is almost at fever pitch....not.
having managed to drag my self away from wife & kids to this dump i've walked in to find the usual load of old c@$p & must say i'm not a happy at all....
weekend started well...sort off (frowns)..friday night got home from work had tea drowne...i mean showered kids, the wife went out & i went to sleep.
saturday was'nt much better came to this giant rollercoster of fun for 8 hours..oh & twisted bl@*&y knee again on way in so was'nt hp ,if you know wot i mean.
got home trapsed round shops (even worse than work)(ho hum)
went home & then proceeded to hear until time of going out how good a night the trouble & strife was going to have (made me feel even better) took her & her friends down town, got home drowne..i mean showered kids again .
to top it off i thought i was going to have at least 4 hours of unadulterated fun on the play station....you guessed it i fell asleep.
picked she who must be obeyed up at 0230hrs,she was so brahms that she could barely walk with breath that could melt a steel pole(so much for alcopops)(smiles)
got home went to bed..
woke up...ended up dogsbody all day coz she had a hangover ..i ask you some people.
so that s me off my soap box (laughs)..
so my likkle friend wot exciting things did you do this weekend..
i hope it was somewhat better than mine.
oh i have some more emails to chuck your way which if i get time i'll do this evening.
sorry for being/sounding completely pi@@3d off,but i'm better now & look forward to speaking to you sometime over night...
Hey, matey!
Jen >^@.@^< Posted Jan 21, 2003
Aw, sounds like a rough week-end for you... not much of a break, eh?
Funny thing, when I woke up Saturday I was under the impression it was Sunday, so I started my "computer break". By the time I realized it was Saturday, I thought, "well, I don't really feel like going online right now, why force it?" So... yeah, had a nice break
I'm still broke, so I just went outside in the yard and played with the kitty, then went along with my dad to some shops (he likes it when someone goes with him, hehe), which was cool- father-daughter bonding, hehe. Turns out he's building his own "Tivo" thing (you heard of Tivo?)... which made me laugh as soon as I realized it... hehehe. And he's in the process of chopping down/rooting out a cottonless cottonwood that they planted a few years ago when the old maple (rather skinny thing but nice shade) fell down; it was a fast grower, which now the root-system is giving the patio problems... so they're going to replace it. I'm going to make an Arthur-Dent style scrabble board with some of the branches, as soon as I can find a suitable big wide stump for the board
Then on Sunday I just stayed in, watched some of Season Two of "Sex and the City" on DVD with the family (minus the little sister, who watched Forrest Gump with her friend in the basement), then had trouble falling asleep so I literally *slept* until 3 in the afternoon- yuck. I took some Contac for my allergies, and woo... it's hitting me a bit now. Luckily I'm not ultra-sluggish, but I'm starting to wish I'd taken half a pill instead of a whole one. My head's a bit fuzzy- have to think of things one-at-a-time. Hum. *laughs*... I never realized how *much* of a multi-task thinker I was...
Hey, matey!
wazzow Posted Jan 21, 2003
cool about the arthur dent board..i'd like to see that..
sorry about the allergies matey i know it can be very unpleasant, don't usually suffer withh anything but on occasions something will catch me unawares.

Hey, matey!
Jen >^@.@^< Posted Jan 21, 2003
I spent the last... probably just about two hours... drawing a picture with an online doodle program- an Oekaki BBS to use the proper term; Oekaki is Japanese for "doodle". It's kind of like an ultra-stripped-down version of Photoshop or Painter Classic, but it's a Java Applete, and makes pictures in PNG format, and posts them on a web board. Fun way to relax for me, hehe It's a scene from Hitchhiker, when Arthur just notices the spaceships, "What the HELL's THAT??"- "Arthur, Quick! Over here!"- etc. Buut... here's the twist... I drew them as anthro-cats. Very subtly, just ears and whiskers and a bit different coloring than if I'd drawn them as human (er, human and betelgeusian? hehe), and I gave Ford ginger-ish coloring instead of David Dixon's mousy brown. Very pleased with how it turned out
*yawn* Still feeling a little spaced-out, but the pill's wearing off a bit, and food helped.
I've never been a doughnut person, lol. *considers making some *
