Oh, don't worry- if I seem a bit "down" or "distant", it's just the allergy medicine affecting me. On the up-side, I can breath clearly and don't have a headache. On the down-side, I'm a bit fuzzy-headed, lol. I'll deffinately have to reduce my dosage.

It'll be great when you have your computer set up at home- then I can send you a copy of the pic I did, and whatnot smiley - smiley

*yawn* very tired... I'll stay online and check back, but probably going to be walking around a bit.

*claps* yay you lost 7 pounds smiley - smiley I still haven't quite gotten into active-mode.

*laughs* oh, oh- I remembered a joke from Conan O'Brian- the "In the year 2000" sketch (where they make "predictions" in funny old-style sci-fi orb necklaces and black robes, with the guest)... anyway, Nathan Lane was on as the second person, and his prediction was that, "In the year 2014... an plane full of Hollywood actors will crash on an island... and despite there being pleanty of food, will resort to canibalism within two weeks in order to stay on the Atkins diet..."

*giggle* Oh, the last joke e-mail you sent was really funny smiley - smiley Um, I'm really not the kind of person who likes forwards all the time, though, so... thanks for the ones you already sent, they were funny, but I think that's enough for me, kay? hehe...

oh don't worry i'll only on rare occasion email you something accross no worries.

yup..definately feeling a bit better today..smiley - biggrin must have been a mondays/blues sort of thing.

hope the allergies are'nt playing you up today smiley - smiley, this is just a quick hi..i'll wait & see if your online later..

speak to you later ....(corny) alligator...(ooohhh)

I guess the mold or pollon count must've been high yesterday, 'cause I feel fine today. Oh! It rained... that probably kept the airborn stuff down... *laughs* kitty's batting at a cord on my desktop. She's sitting in my lap. She wants to playyy...

I just got back from seeing "The Hours". Wow. Oh, such a good movie. Er, very much a woman movie. Not exactly a "chick flick"- more adult than that. Deffinately one I'm going to add to my collection when it comes out on DVD.

*hugs cat* I'm gonna go play wiff my kiddles smiley - smiley

you'll have to fill me in..bit like this gosford park movie,i have'nt even read anything about it...why is every one raving about it..?(smiles)

i forgot to ask ...are you a fan of the rocky horror show..?,can't remember asking but then i'm only a make (grin) & breathing & walking is a little complicated to manage at the same time.*lol*

Hey, matey!

Post 47

Jen >^@.@^<

Hehehe... you fit into the- "What's your name?"- "I dunno, I've a runny nose!"- category? *giggle*... (joke credit to Ardal O'Hanlan)

Yes, I like Rocky Horror. Well, I haven't watched it in a while, but when I won it as a prize at a Pumpkin party, I watched it a bunch when I got home. Gave me a whole new perspective on Tim Curry, hehehehehe. Captain Hook took on a new light, hehehehe. I think my Alma Mater was going to do that for the Spring Musical... some year... maybe this year... that'd be cool. Curtis always very good in Performing Arts department. *nod* I've never been to the Rocky Horror show live or in a theater, though.

Oh, um, Gosford Park and The Hours... well, The Hours is a really new movie. Gosford Park is out on DVD now, so it's not *extremely* New- it's at least a year old, anyway. *shrugs* I probably wouldn't have known about them except that I watch a lot of TV, and I'm into movies.

Feeling very tired now... I stayed up late, got up early, did some walking (yay! Hehehe), and went to an emotionally involved movie. Woo. I'm beat. Mum's experimenting trying to find the perfect Rice Pudding recipe... this is her fourth go at it, I think. And no double boiler. I think she needs to get one, that'll help, I bet. Did you know that eating/drinking a lot of dairy products can help you lose weight? That put me back on milk real quick, hehehe. Tea, also- if you drink it for at least 10 years, apparantly it's good for your bones. I'm set, then- I drink lots of milk and tea. Just need to exersize more. *laughs* I used to drink so much milk I'd get calcium deposits on my fingernails. Better than calcium deposites on my bones, though... too much, too little... *sigh* All things in moderation, I guess. Tough thing to stick by for an obsessive personality like me. *takes vampire teeth out* I nearly bit my tongue. Lol... it's getting to be a habit, putting them in when I sit down at the computer (they're right there in front of me, that's why- I need to get a case for them).

*yawn*... hopefully I'll sleep good tonight. *whistles* Always look on the Briiight side of life...

is that because "lifes a bit of s@!t when you look at it" & "death is just a laugh"....*lol*

how the old knashers doing then ..have you "worn them in",so's to speak (laugh)

yeah i love the rock horror thing..i've never quite managed to get up enough bottle to do the whole suspenders thing mind..hmmpph but maybe some time with enough prompting & alcohol of course who knows (loud laugh)(come on jen ..laugh with me,if you knew me you'd laugh believe me).

this for me is definately in my top ten of all time favourite movies the one that put tim curry in the spot light if you like.

oh..yeah...staying up late tch..tch...,i thought i was the one that kept you up late chatting coz of the time differance & i thought i was giving you a chance to get some kip this week with me on nights & all..smiley - biggrin.....smiley - smiley

as for rice pudding..oooohhhhhhhhhh (hugs oneself) yummmyyyyy, does she add double cream & raisins to her's..?(inquizative look),oh & while were on cakes she would'nt happen to make walnut & banana cake would she (tongue hanging out)smiley - cake....

i see your having a bit of a python moment my little smiley - bunny (laughs),i take it despite the film & the walk (wot do you mean tired at your age....(frowns & scratchs head)....) it's only old fogeys like me allowed to use that excuse you know ...(laughs loudly & biggrin)

He tamed it for a tv ad, "Life's a piece of spit! When you look at it! Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true... You'll see it's all a show, keep 'em laughin' as you go, jus' remember that the last laugh is on you! Aaand... allways look on the briiight side of life..."

I'm quite used to them. They fit perfectly right out of the package, of course- it just takes a bit of wearing to get the mouth used to them. Now I have the habit of putting 'em in because... I dunno, reminds me of my retainer... but that really wasn't a joy to wear or anything, so... dunno. Lol. Just somethin' to curl my tongue around (carefully)

*giggle* He's in a lot of things. Frank N Furtur deffinately a very memorable role, yes...

Well, I have a tendency to lose sleep over troublesome psychological questions, sad moods... it's an awkward time. Insomnia for me doesn't need a computer buddy for the cause.

No raisins *squinches up nose* (er, never liked raisins in cooked things, myself)... and deffinately not double cream! I don't think they even sell double cream over here, unless it's in specialty shops I haven't been to. First I ever heard of it was on Oliver's Twist (cooking show), and I was like... "whaaa? I've never even heard of that..."... She's on a diet, she's always cooked light. I like light cooking better than full-fat, actually. It's what I was raised on. Banana walnut cake? Mm... she's made Banana *bread*... and Zuccini bread (those things grow like mutant alien crops with plans for world conquest if you let 'em)

I'm a smiley - cat, not a smiley - bunny...!! Get it right smiley - winkeye And... tired? Young people are often tired. I had a long hard sobbing cry earlier today (don't really feel like talking about it, I've pretty much gotten over it for now, don't feel like stirring up the ashes looking for a spark- I want to *sleep* tonight, not mull things over... and it's more of a thing I'd rather talk about with my mom or dad, if at all), so that wore me out. I'm tired a lot. Hopefully exersize will help there. *drift*... eyes sleepy...

No, you haven't upset me. I just haven't been online much.

Oh, hehe, and as for cooking- I did make some lovely mushroom soup today smiley - smiley Has mushrooms, chicken broth, onion, garlic, sun dried tomato paste, egg yolks, fresh chopped parsley, balsamic vinegar, parmesan cheese... and pan-fried "snippets" (lol... that's what Grahm Kerr called them, I think... I know them as "croutons"). Based on a recipe I saw on the galloping gourmet, but I changed a few things. Turned out good!

Well, tomorrow I'm going to take the placement test at TCC. eee...

ooohhhh behave...baby..

mushy soup eh..luvvverly jubbly.

you might have guessed but thats one of my faves.

so how you doing then..been anywhere interesting..oh did you get my joke about the bee gees..?

Hey, matey!

Post 56

Jen >^@.@^<

*giggle* Well, next time I make it I've decided I won't use Balsamic vinegar- too overpowering for the mushrooms. Might have to get the parents to buy some dry vermouth and try it Kerr's way- and prepare some clarified butter to use. They have sweet vermouth, I wonder if it would make a huge difference... *shrug*

Didn't get an e-mail yet, but I'll check tomorrow.

I made banana pancakes today! Yummm. I used the recipe for "Pancakes U.S.A. Stylie" in Jamie Oliver's 3rd cookbook (Happy Days). So simple, very tastey smiley - smiley I think the best part was whisking the egg whites (although my arm got a bit sore because I was doing it by hand)... and the banana slices reeeally taste good all warmed up. I ate a couple plain (shared some), and then ate the leftovers later warmed up with margarine and honey. *hugs self* Now I'm HUNGRY again... I swear I could eat pancakes every day, lol. Good-bye stupid pancake mix! I'm anxious to try other stuff sprinkled in while cooking or topping with afterward... My sister ate hers (the only non-banana one) spread with peanut butter and jelly, which is quite good, really (although I think it would have been better with banana slices!) I wonder if it would work to put chunky jam blobs on the pancake before the first flip, or if that would stick to the pan and turn out a disaster... aaar... too hungry... gonna go eat.

hey thats not fair.....(tummy grumbling)..hhmmmpphhh,talking bout scrummy pancakes like that ....i'm hungry now.

you don't half know how to make people hungry ..nana pancakes smiley - hug

i'm now going to have to console myself with a crunchy peanut butter & jelly sarnie..(Hugs self now..fave sarnie) (smiles)..smiley - smiley

how'd the test go then...(I know i'm repeating myself ..but i'm at work..smiley - sorry ).

you sound in "your posting" like you were really full of life & bubbly today...lifes obviously treating you ok then..?

glad you got the tester ok..still a few probs to sort out but were getting there...

talk to you later

My two graphics are in their articles! Hee smiley - smiley You can either search for "Amature Astronomy" and "Strip Clubs", or you can look up the pics themselves (the astronomy one is on my personal space) in the library- star-gazing is under Astronomy, and the pole-dancer is under "Recreation-Dancing" at the bottom. Hehehhehe...
