Congratulations to me: 5 hours and 5 minutes before I turned 71 yesterday my daughter gav birth to a little girl (49 cm and 2980 grams) after 44 hours of labour

That was of course the best of all the messages I received on my b-day

I am now both maternal and paternal grandfather (to two boys and two girls) and thus the only patriarch in my branch of the kin

"we are lucky if we get two or more days of sun"

Thanks, Prof. I'm sure both her Grandfathers and Grandmothers will spoil the little thing at any possible chance

we tend to get lots of rain and maybe soon snow lol

i cant sort the fence out till the garden is mowed and its raining day after day at the moment

the fence is now kaput the wind as done for it ive had to tie it for now from the middle to the old barbacue fence gate post, now kaput to.

the next nightmare could be heavy snow at the mo no sign of any but with our luck its wait and see lol

as if things couldnt get any worse here it as, the bus station is closed the ruddy roof as lots of leaks so work as to be done on top and below

the back entry as been waiting to be tarmacted for ages, the coaches have been behind in a long street for ages acess to trains is also partly blocked till a way if found to get the people on the trains

the other station is other side of bradford with two or four rails going out other way lol jimbob

Yeah, this one is making them pancakes. Last time i only assisted oldest grandkid (9 year old girl) though. She can probably make them herself now but it's nice doing it together

cant remember the last time i had a pancake lol had a frying pan for making them but long gone my combi oven is not in full working order i need to get the top bar sorted but the lecy bill will go up lol

i dont have a payment to pay since at least a year, have two lecy fires one in kitchen other in front room only use if i have to

i gave a reading on 28th last year but only realised this morning had no
bill so i,ll have to ring on monday and see why not

i think i,ll still be in credit nothing to pay lol jimbob

It's a mystery. They say price goes up in the evening because everybody is cooking, watching TV, doing dishes, washing clothes, using computers and listening to radio.

But at the same time all the big industries stop using electrickery

What bugs me! "we're" told to cut down and "save" energy etc BUT! How many shops/businesses etc do you see all the lights on overnight even when no bugger is working...

my fence took a real hammering but a mate that has a shop as for 5 pounds given he a box of screws so i can sort it sometime later

our bus station is still out of action so i have to go in a minute other side of town to get a bus jimbob

His mate (not thick) Replied - if you run behind a taxi, you'll save 5 to 6 quid!!!

its so much fun here the way i can here to starbucks first was over a main road with a bus one uptown other downtown the down was in and three cars behind it lol

they haddnt realised it wont be away for at least 7 mins lol

when told them to go off inwards they where a bit off put as the red arrow to point to the middle was hidden by a pratt leaving a bike near the end of the stop fastened to the pole part
