Yes, I have met some very famous people, even Royalty, but I can't post them ones up in here?
But there are others that I can name for example, Morcome & Wise, Noël Edmonds, (if he counts?) and quite a few others from the BBC, as when I was on the Yacht we played them at football, for a charity match, it was a great day😎

Yes, Noel Edmunds counts as being famous – his career seems to have outlasted Mr Blobby's anyway. I'm very impressed you got to meet Morecombe & Wise – how did their offstage personalities compare to their television persona?

Well Eric was full of fun and joking all the time, where Ernie was a bit more subdued and quiet, we had a great day before, during and after the match.
We also met all the black and white minstrels, and the dance group Pans People shows how long ago it was, Eh!
It raised a lot of money for charity

Hmm – yep, the Minstrels especially would seem a different era to today, although I imagine there's be a certain kudos in being able to say you've met Pan's People.

Well, I never spoke to them, they were having a drink in another corner of the bar, and of course a few of the lads were across there, on the pretext of getting autographs.
Well, they were Navy lads, so you know what I mean.
