and also disturbingly true that I was sent in an email -maybe it will make you laugh. Anymore of these sort of things would be appreciated - would make a great guide entry I think!

Embarrassing or WHAT?
Posted Apr 29, 2003
Today was the introductory assembly for the new senior pupils (of which I am one ) and it was a shambles. We each had to go up one at a time and shake the head teachers hand, then disappear off the side of the stage. Unfortunatley everyone was clapping and they couldn't hear our names or what the head girl and boy were saying about us) and we were told to go so quickly that no one saw our faces - so no one got introduced! Worse, though, was the way I was intro'd - "Louise is a hardcore recycler".... THANKS nice. Everyone laughed, of course....
wahey.

DANCING AROUND MY HOUSE
Posted Apr 25, 2003
As the title suggests, I am dancing around my house because I have just finished translating 850 lines of Chaucer - that's 6,000 words in about eight hours...
Now I just have to write a few essays on it
