Not something I ate

OK, so perhaps it wasn't what I ate. I went to Stockwell last night to lead a discussion meeting with the Lambeth Baha'i community about the world-threatening dangers of religious prejudice, extremism and the violence that is perpetrated in the name of religion.

An interesting group of people, including a producer from Classic FM, an Ethiopian asylum seeker, a Mauritian stroke victim, a woman who works with refugees and asylum seekers, a man from Francophone Africa. The discussion was certainly very engaged and lively.

But I felt pretty grim, so I guess I'm fighting off 'flu or a cold. Still don't feel so wonderful. smiley - sadface But, hey, life goes on. smiley - biggrin

Something I ate

Perhaps it was the two lattes in Portcullis House this morning, or the cup of tea I had when I got back to the office. Or, more likely, the salmon en croute from Sainsburys that I consumed last night.

Anyway, whatever, I've been feeling fairly grim this afternoon and had to retire to cap some Zzzzzzzzzs. Lucky I'm the boss. Nobody's going to say, "And where do you think you're going at 3 o'clock in the afternoon? Back to your desk!"

And what about that salmon en croute? It came in an outer sleeve distinctly labeled "Cod Mornay". There was even a picture of the cod in its mornay (whatever that might be). Somebody must have changed the sleeves on the packages in my local Sainsburys Local. Swine!

Ah well, enough of this wittering...
